Welcome to the "holiday oasis at Fskestadssjön", behind this name lies a small and family holiday village in Småland, consisting of two cores, each with five identical holiday homes and heated outdoor pools. The location is fantastic with lake views over the fish-rich lake Fiskestadssjön in southern Småland. Perfect for the planned (multiple) family vacation with many activity options on site. The holiday village has two adjacent areas with holiday homes. Each area has access to its own pool area. All homes have lake views and are close to the fenced pool areas. The pools are surrounded by large wooden terraces with garden furniture and sun loungers, are heated and have sliding glass roofs.

The holiday homes are 70-75 square meters in size and have 6 beds plus two extra beds in each house and were newly renovated in 2018. They have their own terraces with 8 chairs and a large table and a garden pavilion. There is also a charcoal grill and sun loungers with a grill and comfortable under a garden pavilion.



There are paved walkways between the cottages, new pool areas and lakeside walking paths.

The holiday homes have a toilet and shower, a kitchen with a dining area for 6 people and an open living area, as well as 3 bedrooms (one of which is the sleeping loft with a door) each with 2 single beds and a sofa bed for 2 in the living room.



In the complex we find large lawns for all kinds of games and fun. You have your own aluminum boat with an electric motor down by the lake and can use the facility's wireless internet.



You can take trips, for example, to the zoo on Öland, the Westerstadt High Chaparall, Barnens gård (children's adventure park), Kreativum or to the world of Astrid Lindgren.



Fishing at lake Åsnen or Fiskestadssjö.



The Fiskestadssjö is known for its large perch and pike. You can fish from the shore, dock or boat. You can also take a trip to one of the nearby islands. The record for our guests is 125 pike in one week!



Also nearby is Lake Åsnen, which is one of the top ten Swedish fishing waters. There are fishing guides and night fishing for zander! For anglers who want to fish in flowing water, there is also Mörrumsån as an alternative.



If you want to fish, you must purchase a fishing license. You can buy these at the ICA Supermarket in Väckelsång (approx. 5 minutes by car from the holiday village). Minors under 18 do not need a fishing license. Day fishing tickets cost around 100 SEK, weekly fishing tickets cost 200 SEK. The fishing permits are valid for Fiskestadssjön (lake) and Kroksjön (lake).
