Built in 1912 by Hilborn Holmes and Evie Elizabeth Mixon Holmes with exceptional craftsmanship and materials, this magnificent two story brick mansion welcomes guests with its grand facade, leaded glass doors, sidelights, and transoms. The stately porch is framed by Ionic cypress columns, elegant balustrades, and a distinctive French ceramic tile roof.

Some of my sweetest memories are here. There is something truly special about this home. It invites you to slow down, sit a little longer, and appreciate the beauty of simple moments. Being here feels like stepping back in time and connecting with the generations of family who loved and cared for this place before me.
I love hosting because it gives me the opportunity to share Brentwood with others. My hope is that when you walk through these doors, you will feel the same sense of peace and wonder that I have always felt here and leave with memories that stay with you long after your visit.
Brentwood is a labor of love, and there is still much work to be done. By choosing Brentwood, you become part of its continuing story. Brent and Elizabeth Kennedy Brent visited the house, fell in love with it, and made it their cherished family home. Brentwood was later honored with placement on the National Register of Historic Places in March 1989.
