It is in a very secluded part of Fawn Lake. Very quiet and private. Lots of areas to relax: by the lake; the fire pit; two screened-in porches; and a downstairs family room. Close to Minoqua and Rhinelander.

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if it was just us adults. Lake is not one you can swim in at all. Good for fishing however. Nice husband and wife getaway.

Thank you - we would love to have you back! We will continue to work on clearing a swim area at the cabin and invite you to use the sandy beach area across the lake on your next stay. The fish love the weeds…people, not so much!

We booked this gem of a property 2 weeks in advance. The communication with Andrea prior to our visit was excellent and Matthew was the most exceptional host ensuring our arrival was smooth and our comfort was assured. If I could give Matthew and Andrea 10 stars I would. With Canadian wildfire smoke impending they installed an AC unit in the living room and air purifiers in the bedroom. This beautiful quiet secluded property was just what we needed to connect with nature and each other. We enjoyed daily kayaking and fishing in the rowboat. Our teens enjoyed the swimming rafts at the beach. The site and sounds of the frogs, deer, and wildlife were the calm we needed. If you are looking for a great family property this is it! Thank you for sharing your family’s property with us.

We had an amazing week at The Fawn Lake Hideaway! So peaceful, plenty of fishing and swimming, the cabin had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Delighted with our stay at this cabin in Hazelhurst. The rooms were cozy, very comfortable and clean, the location is on a lake in the middle of the woods!

Great cabin in the woods.

Had a great peaceful stay. Cabin was well equipped with everything you could need. Lakes were very quiet and had some great fishing.

Great little lake get away

Great little cabin that was well appointment and clean. The fishing was wonderful and the location very peaceful. We barely saw anyone else on the lake the entire time we were there.

Had a Great Stay

Saw deer, a bald eagle, two loons, and heard lions and bullfrogs every night. The house was clean and well-equipped, and is in a great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay - 3 nights in the Northwoods! The house had everything we needed, different spaces to hang out in and a nice campfire pit. Weather wasn't great so the indoor stove felt great. Maybe next time we'll get a chance to use the boat/kayaks.

The remoteness and tranquility at this property makes it a no brainer must stay. Host was incredibly responsive and accommodating even with my very last minute booking

Great cabin for a group. Very well stocked with everything you need. Super quiet and peaceful. My grandson had fishing fever and caught some nice size fish. Close to Minocqua for activities. Very happy with our week.

Relaxing beautiful lakefront cabin

Beautiful large cabin with many gathering places for the family. Very peaceful with woods surrounding you. We enjoyed the boat and kayaks on the small lake. We will rent again!
