Stunning houseIts the cleanest house we’ve probably ever stayed in..We loved the chefs kitchen ..the showers The view from the sitting roomThe treats …chocolateEverything we needed for out stay was supplied…Towels, tea towels and the red squirrel who came to see us in the garden…the views are breathtaking The surrounding area is like something off the sound of music…fields of flowers and the gentle tinkle of cow bells I’ve probably left loads outIt’s fabulous We were met by Richard and Ella …who were the nicest people and so helpful ..giving great tips for the local area If you decide to come here you won’t regret it

Exceeded our expectations! House was spacious and well located for day tripping. It came stocked with many cooking necessities. Lots of dishware/pots available.Easy/fast communication. Ella was awesome! We didn't really want to leave!

Excellent, spacious house with fantastic views of the Schwarzbach Valley and beyond into Switzerland. It is very easily reached from Zurich Airport but is located in a very quiet village. The house was spotlessly clean and well stocked with all the items you could ever need. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were good, the kitchen was very well equipped with high-quality items, everything from an air fryer to a steam oven. There was a large TV and other entertainment equipment. Wi-fi was good upstairs but not available downstairs.Ella showed us around the property and was available to answer questions on any house related topics. She goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and to make your stay as easy as possible.The driveway is a little tight and could do with expanding at the entrance where it meets the road. Also, the roads leading to the house are a little narrow so something to be aware of if travelling in a large car.Aircon wasn't required when we stayed but has now been added to the property which will help in the summer.

At Swiss border, gorgeous view!

There were two of us couples, long-time friends, celebrating a big birthday and a big anniversary, and this house was exactly what wewere looking for! Immaculately clean, spacious, short drive to shops, 30 minutes to Zurich Airport, about 15 minutes to gorgeous Rheine River Falls. Quiet, quaint area, and owners/housekeeper were nearby and just the best!! We all highly recommend!!

Wonderful!

I loved staying in this beautiful Black Forest hillside hideaway! It's easy enough to get into Zurich from there and also to explore other surrounding cities such as Strasbourg and to just stay in the amazingly beautiful Black Forest region. Great view of the mountians in the distance from the living room!!

Peaceful house

My family is on a "European" vacation from the states. This house was plenty big for my family of 5. We enjoyed the space both indoor and outdoors. It was exceptionally clean. It was a 30-40 min drive from Zurich airport. There was a heatwave when we arrived and the neighbor who showed us around and spoke English also brought us another fan which was very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this house to all who are looking for some peace and quiet away from the city.

Bij aankomst werden we warm welkom geheten door Ella, die ook voor de schoonmaak verantwoordelijk is. Ze heeft de werking van allerlei apparatuur uitgelegd en was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook later toen we een akkefietje hadden met een zonnescreen hebben zij en de eigenaar uitstekend met ons gecommuniceerd. Het huis is gaaf. Groots van opzet, ruime keuken, ruime slaapkamers, etc. en ligt in een rustig wijkje. Het uitzicht is prachtig en je geniet er van rust en ruimte. Kortom geweldige tijd gehad. Ook genoeg te doen in de directe omgeving (tot max. 1 a 1 1/2 uur rijden).

Die Villa ist absolut ein Highlight. Die Einrichtung und vorallem die Ausstattung (es gibt wirklich alles) übertreffen unsere Erwartungen. Die Lage etwas außerhalb möchten wir sehr gern. Ein Auto ist aber absolut notwendig. Im Ort selbst kann man im Gasthaus Rebstock sehr gut essen gehen (fußläufig).Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten draußen zu sitzen und den Blick zu genießen.Alles bestens.

We had a lovely time staying here. The house was perfect for our family. Especially after a few long days of travel during our stay, if was always nice to come back to this home. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful with anything we had questions about. And the views and nearby walking paths and forests were all wonderful. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

11 von 10 Punkten. Tolles Haus mit grandioser Aussicht.Für den "Reinigungszustand" ist das Wort Sauberkeit nicht ausreichend. Als wir ankamen, konnte man wirklich vom Boden essen.Wir waren restlos begeistert.Ella ist ein Engel und hat uns den Abschied noch schwerer gemacht!Auch die Kommunikation mit Richard im Vorfeld lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig!Absolute Empfehlung!!!

Wir waren 12 Tage in dem wunderbaren Haus. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist überdurchschnittlich gut. Es war vieles vorhanden, was man sonst vermisst. Es war alles sehr gut geordnet und unglaublich sauber. Die Ansprechpartnerin war sehr gut und schnell zu erreichen und reagierte auf jede Anfrage sofort. Es war ein wirklich schönes Erlebnis, in diesem Haus gewesen zu sein. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich.

Außergewöhnlich

Die Lage des Hauses ist echt schön und ruhig. Die Qualität der Einrichtung entspricht sehr hohem Standard und auch sehr gutem Geschmack. Die Sauberkeit aller Räumlichkeiten, die perfekte Ausstattung der Küche und Bäder etc. lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Hohes Lob an Frau Burmann für Ihre vorzügliche und beispielhafte Arbeit zum Wohle der Gäste!! Durchweg überdurchschnittlich! Bravo!
