Tucked into a quiet West Seattle hillside, The Tranquil Treehouse earns its name: despite being a garden-level suite, the hill and lush landscaping put you right at treetop height, with all the calm that comes with it. On clear days, and sometimes beautifully, on partly cloudy ones, an Olympic Mountain peak frames itself through a gap in the trees. It's the kind of view that makes you linger over your morning coffee longer than you planned.


Living Area: The garden patio with an outdoor dining table and umbrella is the heart of the place — a genuinely lovely spot on a Seattle summer evening. Or move indoors and stream on a 60" HDTV, and stay connected with fiber internet. A dedicated desk round things out and in-suite laundry means you can pack light.


Bedroom: You'll sleep on a Saatva queen mattress. There is space to hang your clothes and room darkening curtains and shade ensures you can sleep even when it doesn't get dark till late. A queen air mattress is available if you need to sleep a second guest.


Kitchen: This is a full kitchen, no holds barred. Nespresso machine with pods is provided, or you can use the french press if you prefer to try wonderful Seattle coffees. Full refrigerator with drawer freezer and ice maker. Full dishes for 4, utensils, pots, pans, and everything else needed for cooking. Microwave, gas range, dishwasher, and toaster for good measure.


Location: The Tranquil Treehouse sits in the quiet Fauntleroy neighborhood where the city starts to feel more like a village. A short walk down the hill puts you at Wildwood Market, a beloved neighborhood eatery perfect for morning coffee, a quick lunch, or stocking up the kitchen. Just across street from it is Endolyne Joe's, a West Seattle institution serving comfort food and rotating regional menus in a classic diner atmosphere — great for breakfast before a day of exploring. There's also a local taco truck nearby for a quick, satisfying bite.
For a wider spread of restaurants, shops, and nightlife, Morgan Junction is just a mile and a half away. For even more, Alaska Junction is the heart of West Seattle and just a short drive or bus ride with something for every mood.


Lincoln Park is a 5-minute walk — trails, a rocky beach, and the outdoor Coleman Pool. There is also often a sauna at the beach which you can pair with a cold plunge in the Puget Sound!

The Fauntleroy Ferry is 10 minutes on foot; you can walk on or drive on, with boats to Vashon Island and the Olympic Peninsula — one of the best day trips in the region.
