Step outside the yurt door directly onto the elevated wooden boardwalk system that keeps your feet entirely off the dirt and gravel. The boardwalk leads you straight into your private, covered outdoor chef's pavilion. Unlike standard off-grid glamping sites, this pavilion features standard grid electricity and a deep sink supplied with hot running water. Fire up the premium Blackstone tabletop griddle to cook breakfast, keep your favorite local brews cold in the outdoor mini-fridge, and enjoy open-air dining at the built-in bar counter.🌲 The Grounds & Outdoor Experience Nestled seamlessly on a private incline surrounded by dense, lush forest canopy, the property turns into a fairy tale at night. Long strings of warm Edison bulbs are woven through the trees, illuminating your entire campsite.

*The Boardwalk: A beautiful, well-lit wooden walkway connecting the yurt, the kitchen pavilion, and the outhouse.

*The Fire Pit Zone: A heavy-duty, multi-tiered steel tire-rim fire pit accompanied by a classic wooden picnic bench.

*The Hammock: A sturdy camping hammock strung between two mature trees, offering a perfect view down the valley.

*The Outhouse: A custom, wood-paneled private outhouse with a crescent moon cutout on the door, located just a short walk up the clean boardwalk path.

*Guests will have access to the entire yurt site, including the interior living space, the connected outdoor kitchen pavilion, the fire pit zone, the hammock, and the dedicated private outhouse. Parking is available directly on the gravel drive at the base of the site's short incline.

Other Details to Note:

*Water : To preserve the authentic structural design of the yurt, there is no indoor running water inside the main dome. However, the covered outdoor kitchen pavilion features a full sink with hot and cold running water just steps away via the boardwalk. Power: Both the yurt interior and the outdoor pavilion are connected to standard electrical lines. You can safely plug in phones, laptops, and appliances.

In consideration of renting, using or being present on the property of Jon & Jaime LaPointe, You hereby waive, release and forever discharge Jon & Jaime LaPointe, (hereafter referred to as THE OWNERS) its affiliates from any claims resulting from physical or personal injury, pain, etc. You are here of your free will, and entirely at your own risk.

You understand that The Old Apple Yurt property has the potential for inherent risks to include but not limited to dangers and hazards for you and/or your guests. These risks include but are not limited to all the potential risks associated with the Maine woods, ie., fires, fallen trees; poison ivy and other plants that may cause rashes and allergic reactions; bug bites and stings. Your presence to be on the property of THE OWNERS is voluntarily and you assume all possible risks and responsibility for loss, property damage, illness and personal injury.

Nonetheless, you assume all related risks, you fully understand that this is a release of liability and you agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that you or your guests otherwise have to bring legal action against THE OWNERS for any personal injury or property damage.

You further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless THE OWNERS, against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation whether through Airbnb or otherwise brought by you or your guests or anyone on your behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs.

You clearly understand the terms and voluntarily agree to this release agreement. you have also discussed this with all persons in your party and they have authorized you to agree to this agreement on their behalf.

YOU acknowledge that CONFIRMING YOUR RESERVATION is your acceptance to this liability waiver and is a substitute for a handwritten signature on a legal document.

Unauthorized late checkouts or Staying past the agreed upon checkout time will result in a nightly fee and possibly the full cost of the next impacted night(s) or booked reservation.
