The vacation rental is fully wheelchair-accessible (all doors are extra-wide).<br>　<br><br>The 67 m² vacation rental is located on the first floor of a newly built house at Mummendorf 2d on Fehmarn. The house was completed in January 2022 to the latest standards and is situated on a low-traffic street. A designated parking space is located directly in front of the building. <br>A wallbox is available for charging your electric car (for a fee); this wallbox is shared by two households in the building. The wallbox can charge at up to 11 kW and is equipped with a Type 2 plug. Billing is based on a daily flat rate of €8.00 per day. The wallbox/flat rate can only be booked for the entire stay.<br>Underfloor heating is installed throughout the entire apartment, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate.<br><br>The bright and modern apartment features free internet access (Wi-Fi) provided by a third-party provider.<br>The apartment consists of a spacious living area with a fully equipped kitchenette, 2 bedrooms (each sleeping 2 people), 1 bathroom with a rain shower and a large mirror, and a storage room with a washer and dryer. <br><br>　<br><br>The living room is both cozy and tastefully furnished. It features a comfortable corner sofa, a smart TV, and a hi-fi system. A fireplace in the living area creates a cozy atmosphere year-round. You’ll need to bring your own seasoned firewood and kindling if needed, though these can also be purchased at a hardware store on Fehmarn.<br><br>　<br><br>A modern built-in kitchen with a dining area is perfect for cooking and dining together. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, induction cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle. <br>Of course, there is plenty of dishes and cutlery available. Please bring your own dish sponges, dish towels, dish soap, etc.; 2 dishwasher tabs are provided.<br>In the kitchen, part of the countertop has been designed to be wheelchair-accessible and lower in height so that everyone can truly cook together.<br>　<br>The bathroom with a shower is modern and comfortably equipped, ensuring a pleasant showering experience. The shower is wheelchair-accessible (including a bench), and there are fold-away grab bars next to the toilet. The sink in the bathroom is wheelchair-accessible.<br>You’ll find a hair dryer in the cabinet under the sink. One roll of toilet paper is provided at the start of your stay.<br><br>　<br><br>Each of the two bedrooms has a double bed measuring 160x200 cm; these beds are 55 cm high and have 110 cm of clearance on one side. One bedroom also has a TV.<br>A travel crib with a mattress and a high chair are also available for the littlest guests.<br>From the living room, you step out onto the spacious terrace with a garden, which invites you to relax and play. Garden furniture and a grill are at your disposal for sunny afternoons and cozy barbecue evenings. <br>　<br><br>Starting in September 2022 (tentatively), a sauna will be available in the garden, where you can leave the stresses of everyday life behind and enhance your vacation with a touch of wellness. The sauna is for the exclusive use of this apartment. The sauna must be booked for the entire stay; unfortunately, it cannot be booked for individual days. The sauna costs €8.00 per day; if you book for one week or longer, you’ll receive 2 days free (€40.00/week).<br><br>　<br><br>In addition, an ironing board and an iron are available for your use.<br>Please note: Pets are not permitted in this vacation rental.
