Dollar General (9 min) – Convenient for groceries, household essentials, and forgotten items.

ALCOHOL PURCHASES
Alcohol sales are limited in Cullman County. If you'd like beer, wine, or spirits during your stay, we recommend purchasing them before arrival. The closest convenient stop is near the intersection of Highway 222 and I-65, about 20 minutes away.

WORTH THE DRIVE
Bloom Winery (17 miles) – Enjoy locally crafted wine, wood-fired pizza, and a relaxed atmosphere. Nearby Ethos Craft Brewery and several casual dining options make it a great afternoon outing.

EXPLORE CULLMAN
Just 30 minutes away, historic downtown Cullman offers charming boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, and Southern hospitality.

Guests have private use of the home and outdoor living spaces during their stay. The tritoon boat and boat lift are reserved for owner use and are not available to guests. From time to time, neighboring property owners may briefly use the boat ramp to launch or retrieve their boats, and we may occasionally access our tritoon. Any activity is infrequent, brief, and intended to minimize interruptions to your stay.

For inventory and housekeeping purposes, the owner's storage closets and cleaning closet are locked and not accessible to guests.


SLEEPING ARRANGMENTS:
Every bedroom is thoughtfully equipped with a white noise machine, charging tower, luggage rack, and 100% cotton sateen sheets to help every guest enjoy a comfortable, restful stay.

BEDROOM ONE
This adult bedroom features a Purple® king mattress, blackout curtains, luggage rack, generous closet storage, dresser, beautiful lake views, and small corner desk.

BEDROOM TWO
Designed with families and groups in mind, the bunk room comfortably sleeps four with two twin-over-twin bunks also featuring Purple mattresses. Each bed includes an individual reading light, giving every guest a personal space to unwind. The room also features a closet with shelves, window blinds, and bench seat.

BEDROOM THREE
This master bedroom with ensuite bathroom includes another Purple® king mattress, dresser, reading nook, blackout curtains, and expansive lake views. The attached ensuite bathroom includes a rain shower head. An adjoining OPTIONAL kids' sleeping nook utilizes the oversized closet to accommodates two twin mattresses (or seats) instead of sleeping on an uncomfortable pull out couch, making this room ideal for families with young children.

Our kitchen is intentionally organized and labeled to make finding everything simple.

BOAT RAMP & DOCK
• Kayaks, paddles, seasonal paddle boards, lounge chairs, and life jackets are provided for guest use.
• On-site boat ramp available for guest use. The ramp and driveway are steep; four-wheel drive is strongly recommended.
• Guests may tie their personal boat alongside the designated area of the dock.
• Water levels and ramp conditions vary, so please use caution and your own judgment when launching or retrieving watercraft.


A personal vehicle is recommended, as public transportation and ride-share services are limited. The home is surrounded by neighboring lake homes, so while you'll enjoy a peaceful setting, we ask that guests be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours, especially in the evenings.

Whether you're here for family gatherings, fishing, boating, or simply slowing down together, we've tried to anticipate the little things that help you settle in and enjoy your stay.

LOCATION:
• Convenient to Birmingham (1 hr 5 mins), Hunstville (1 hr 17 mins), and Franklin, TN (2 hrs 22 mins)
• 7 minute boat ride to Trident Marina (18 minute car drive)
• 3.8 miles to a Dollar General for those items you may have forgotten
• Looking to venture off the lake? Historic downtown Cullman is about 30 minutes away and makes for a fun afternoon of shopping, dining, and exploring local favorites.

A covered, attached carport and keyless entry welcome you into a spacious, open-concept great room featuring the kitchen, dining area, and living room with an LG Smart TV. The laundry room is conveniently located just off the kitchen. Just beyond the living area, the screened porch offers a comfortable place to enjoy your morning coffee, catch your favorite show on the outdoor TV, or unwind after a day on the lake.

Down the main hallway, you'll find Bedrooms 1 and 2, separated by a large shared bathroom. As you head downstairs, say hello to Melvin the donkey before arriving in the game room, complete with foosball, an arcade game, and another LG Smart TV. The lower level also includes Bedroom 3 with an ensuite bathroom and optional kids' sleeping nook, while the game room opens directly to the back deck, where abundant outdoor seating invites you to gather, relax, and take in the lake views.

A gentle walk with 28 stairs lead to the private dock, where lounge chairs provide the perfect spot to relax by the water. Spend the day exploring the lake with the provided kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, cast a line from the dock, or bring your own boat and enjoy the convenience of the on-site boat ramp.

House Notes:

Please note that the neighboring property is currently under construction. Workers may be present during daytime hours, and construction noise such as a generator or power tools may be heard. This is outside of our control, but we want guests to be aware before booking.

Our goal is for every guest to enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home. The following guidelines help us maintain that experience for everyone who visits.

Pets: While we love animals, Gather at Smith Lake is an animal-free home. To provide the best experience for guests with allergies and sensitivities, pets and other animals are not permitted.

Smoking: Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere inside the home. If you choose to smoke outdoors, please dispose of all cigarette waste properly and away from the home.

Parties & Events: This home is designed for a lake getaways with family and friends. Parties, large gatherings, and events are not permitted without prior approval.

Exterior cameras and audio may record outdoor areas for safety, security, occupancy, and rule compliance.

Lewis Smith Lake is managed by Alabama Power, so water levels naturally fluctuate throughout the year and can change with weather conditions and seasonal lake management. Our home enjoys year-round water access, so you'll always be able to enjoy the lake. During periods of lower water levels, however, the water around the dock and boat ramp may be shallower than usual. If you're bringing a boat—especially a larger one—we recommend using a little extra care when launching, docking, and navigating near the shoreline.
