Quiet barrier-free vacation apartment by the pond in Schmidt Pet-friendly

Dear Guests,

Here, you can enjoy peace and nature in a modern, newly built, sustainable apartment. Pets are expressly allowed here. Our houses are the last ones on the left before the nature reserves begin. We place great importance on ensuring a relaxing stay.

This apartment is new and modern,

IT IS FULLY ADAPTED TO THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL OR MOTOR DISABILITIES.

We avoid unnecessary decorations, as these usually appeal to only a few guests.

The kitchen is fully equipped and wheelchair-accessible in two places. If you need anything, we’re happy to help. Our kitchen has everything you need for cooking. At your disposal are a stove with a ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, an oven, a coffee maker, a blender, a toaster, and a kettle.

Free Wi-Fi is, of course, available, as well as satellite TV.
Our facility has 3 electric vehicle charging stations, which are available for a fee.


Apartment 5 features a bathroom with
a toilet (grab bars on the right and left)
a shower (grab bar on the right wall) that opens directly into the room
a hair dryer, washing machine, and dryer. Towels are provided for your stay. If you require a shower stool, please bring your own. You will find a standard shower stool in the apartment.

Underfloor heating, powered by environmentally friendly geothermal energy combined with solar power, is available throughout the entire apartment.

In your bedroom, you will find a double bed with an electric slatted frame that allows you to adjust the bed comfortably. It is not a nursing bed, so it does not have any assistive features for getting up.

You also have access to a storage room where you’ll find additional everyday household items, including a vacuum cleaner and standard household cleaning supplies.

Weather permitting, you can use the patio furniture on the terrace to have breakfast, dinner, or simply relax.
You can access the terrace through a hinged door with a 1.5 cm high threshold.

You can easily access the vacation rental through a separate entrance.

On our property, which spans over 4,000 square meters, there are 4 terraces accessible via the lawns. There are no paved paths leading to them.

In case of bad weather, we have a common room where you can borrow plenty of books or games.
You’re also welcome to help yourself to various hygiene items there if you’ve forgotten your own.

For our youngest guests, we can also provide a travel crib and a high chair upon request. Please feel free to contact us about this.

Upon request, we also offer a shuttle service to the Nideggen-Brück train station if you plan to arrive or depart via the Rurtalbahn.

If this apartment is already fully booked, we can only recommend Apartments 3 or 4, though please note that these are not fully accessible but only partially accessible.
