But the original idea of a Gasthof has been preserved. In the ground-floor restaurant, you can enjoy a real Austrian meal after an active day in the mountains. Or take advantage of the sauna to relax the muscles after an active day
Fresh and contemporary. The fully equipped apartment has everything for a carefree stay. The terrace by the gently rushing stream will undoubtedly do your mind good. But if that gets too busy, you can also use the comfortable sofa bed in the living room
Hinterhal is in the middle of the medium-sized ski area, Hochkönig. From 1000 metres above sea level, you step straight into the lift from the village. It's in a central location so you'll have all restaurants in Hinterthal within walking distance. The village has a playground for children with an artificial turf football pitch. Because of its location, high in the mountains, you are in beautiful nature with many hiking and climbing trails within a few minutes.

The Hochkönig ski area is part of the immense ski region Ski Amadé with 120 kilometres of slopes! Ski like a king over the white and beautifully groomed slopes here. You will find numerous mountain huts serving delicious regional and international cuisine!

In summer, this area is a true hiking paradise. Some 340 kilometres of hiking trails lie at your feet. Take a refreshing dip in one of the crystal-clear mountain lakes and enjoy the Austrian sunshine
