The vacation home is centrally located yet pleasantly quiet—just a few minutes from Duhnen’s sandy beach, the romantic beach promenade, and the lively town center. Numerous small shops where you’ll find everything you need for daily life, cozy cafes, and a variety of restaurants invite you to stroll and linger. The AHOI! water park with its thalasso center is also located nearby and offers ideal opportunities for wellness, sports, and relaxation.
The vacation home is cozy and functionally equipped, offering everything you need for a relaxing vacation. In addition to a spacious bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, there are three bright bedrooms that can accommodate up to five people. One bedroom has a double bed, the second has two single beds, and the third bedroom has another single bed. In the living room, you can relax and unwind after a day at the beach, a shopping trip, or a long mudflat hike.
The terrace—or, in cooler weather, the sunroom—is perfect for a leisurely breakfast in the sunshine or cozy evenings. The private little garden offers additional space and privacy and is ideal for families with children, who can play here undisturbed.
Cuxhaven offers exceptional excursion opportunities that will make your vacation unforgettable. Whether it’s a walk on the seabed, a hike or a horse-drawn carriage ride to the island of Neuwerk, tours through forests and heathlands right by the North Sea, or a catamaran trip to the offshore island of Heligoland—the region has unique experiences in store. Of course, you can also simply enjoy a relaxing day in a beach chair on the white sandy beach and soak up the fresh North Sea air.
In the evening, numerous restaurants in Duhnen invite you to sample regional specialties before you enjoy the sunset over the sea during a stroll along the beach promenade. During the summer months, many events take place right on the beach, including the famous Duhnen Mudflat Race, the only horse race in the world held on the seabed.
Prices are per night. The final cleaning fee is already included in the price for the first night; the prices for subsequent nights apply to the entire vacation home. Electricity, water, and other utilities are included. You also have the option to conveniently add bed linens, towels, and high chairs for children via the booking form.
Important Note: Since the furnishings and some of the furniture in the vacation home “Am grooten Steen 22” are slightly older than in comparable properties, the prices have been intentionally set a bit lower—ideal for guests looking for a central location and plenty of space at an attractive price.
