From the initial idea and planning all the way to hundreds of OSB panels, light switches, electrical outlets, custom-built (sink) vanities and window sills, recycled and repainted chairs, painted artwork, hand-picked (dried) flowers, hand-tied wreaths, and carved curtain rods—we’ve put in many hours of work and, above all, poured our heart and soul into this project, so we’re thrilled to welcome guests to our cozy and modern space.
Guest Access
Our guest barn is located across from our own apartment, which is why we share the stairwell. As hosts, we keep a low profile but are always available if you have any questions or need help.
Additional important information
For riders who’d like to visit us with their horses, we also offer stalls on our farm. Please contact us before booking if you’d like to bring your horse.

Please note:

The Schlaf-Scheune is surrounded by idyllic nature. However, there’s always something going on at a riding stable. It’s inevitable that our farm dog Chico will bark, hooves will clatter, horses will neigh, and riding students will be bustling about. So if you’re interested in getting a taste of real farm life, you’ve come to the right place.
