The "Selma," a historic half-timbered house dating from 1763, is located in the heart of Großschönau, just 20 meters from the Mandau River. It consists of 4 living units (including 3 vacation apartments) and 1 sauna/wellness room. The "Fritz" vacation apartment is located on the 1st and 2nd floors (steep staircase); here you’ll find the living room with a double sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed, and a kitchen with a dining area. Accommodation for up to 7 people is possible. A visitor’s tax of 1.40 EUR per person per night and electricity at 0.45 € per kWh are billed on site.

” Accommodation: Located in the heart of Großschönau’s historic district within the beautiful Zittau Mountains Nature Park, our “Selma” vacation home features a total of 4 apartments.
“Fritz” is a duplex vacation apartment spanning the 1st and 2nd floors. A steep staircase—typical of these old houses—leads to the apartment entrance on the 1st floor.
Here you’ll find a fully equipped country-style kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker, stove, and a cozy sitting area.
Also on this floor is the cozy and bright living room with a sleeper sofa for 2 people, a workspace, and a sitting area. The bathroom, which is also on the lower level of the vacation rental, features a bathtub, toilet, and washing machine.
On the upper floor (attic)—accessible via another steep staircase—you’ll find the open-concept bedroom with a rustic double pallet bed (180x200) and another pallet bed (140x200).
From the open-concept bedroom, you enter a small bedroom (more suitable for children) with a single bed measuring 80x1.90 m; this can also be pulled out to create an additional bed measuring 70x1.90 m.

Wi-Fi and cable TV are available to guests. Board games and a selection of books are also provided.

The Fritz vacation apartment includes a sauna room on the first floor, which will be for exclusive use starting in June 2023. It features an infrared sauna cabin measuring 1.20 x 1.05 m. Exclusively for the Fritz vacation rental is an outdoor hot tub available year-round for private use:

In the backyard, there is also a barbecue area, a small lawn for sunbathing, and a seating area shared by the Fritz and Marie vacation rentals:
