In nearby Kröpelin, you’ll find charming restaurants and cafés, an Ostsrock Museum, and a retractable windmill (the landmark of Kröpelin). The beach at Kühlungsborn is only 10 km away, the spa town of Bad Doberan is just 9 km away, and the Hanseatic city of Rostock is only 26 km away. Also highly recommended for families with children is “Karl’s Erdbeerhof” in Mönchhagen.
