La ubicación es ideal como punto de partida para excursiones de un día a Norden, Aurich, Dornum, Esens o incluso Emden.

Actividades en los alrededores : El paseo más popular por las marismas del Mar del Norte va desde Neßmersiel hasta la isla del Mar del Norte de Baltrum.
