We loved this cozy and comfortable rental. It's perfect for a couple. It was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view was spectacular. The kitchen was set up with anything you may need to make meals. I do want to point out that this rental is managed by a service, which is fine, but they take payment outside of the VRBO platform. The Skinner management company says they sent me an email with this information, but I never saw it, perhaps it went to spam. So, we were there for a few days and then got a message saying we hadn't paid. We had to spend an afternoon and evening trying to work it out with VRBO and Skinner. It took three calls with VRBO to verify that it was okay to pay Skinner directly. I have always paid for past rentals through the VRBO platform, so I was confused and worried that there was a scam going on, but in the end, we did pay Skinner directly with VRBO's blessing. I blame both VRBO and Skinner for bad communication about this. Yes, Skinner claimed they sent me an email, which I never responded to and made any payments. I'm surprised that Skinner didn't try and reach out again when I obviously wasn't responding to an email I never saw and VRBO never indicated that this would be paid outside their platform. It was confusing, stressful and took time away from our vacation to deal with it. And, Skinner demands payment by a bank transfer, no credit cards. This adds on an extra expense for some.
