Great place to stay for a getaway weekend. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with our plans for a fishing trip on the bay… the dock was nice and we caught a few small trout .

We really enjoyed this day. The barbecue pit was nice, the house is extremely clean, and the downstairs room was very cool.

Nice place to stay

Very pretty and comfortable home with boat access if needed. Good location if you are a fisherman. Plenty of cookware and extras in the kitchen. The only issue was a "old" smell throughout the home. The local Vacasa office responded quickly and tried to appease us that it was not anything dangerous and supplied some air fresheners.

Very nice place. Just what we needed for three of us fishing the area. The locks are a little difficult to work with but that is very minor.

Everything is great I only have a couple issues. First is probably on purpose and really petty but the water pressure is super low in shower. I get it probably conserving water. Second is uneven boards on the dock. We have an elderly man in the group that ended up in the emergency room Friday night after he tripped and fell into the water. Minor injuries but had we not been there he would most likely drowned. The dock isn’t in terrible shape but I also tripped in a few places. No big complaints I’m not blaming the dock. He’s old and he tripped. Just felt like it was worth mentioning.

Great place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect get away!

Location and house were perfect! House was spotless upon arrival and exactly as pictured. The dock was perfect for fishing and the patio was great for hanging out and relaxing. The kitchen had everything you could need. We will definitely be returning and recommending to friends!!

This home is in a great location near the entrance to Estes Flats and the intercoastal waterway. The dock is great, and home is exactly as described. Will stay again.

Cozy on a canal!!

When we arrived the house was spotless and just as pictured…maybe better. The location is great, at the end of a quiet street only a 10 minute drive into Rockport. The dock was perfect for fishing and the back patio was great for hanging out and relaxing. The rooms/beds were very comfy and the kitchen had everything you could need. We will definitely be returning to The Lazy Bay. Thanks for a wonderful vacation spot!!

Easy access to fishing with a good size space for tying up a boat. Loved that the house had 3 king beds to accommodate everyone comfortably.

Great stay

The house was a perfect size for our family of five. Fishing off the dock was fun for my husband and kids. All amenities worked as expected. All in all we were very happy with our stay

Fishing trip and tournament

Worked great for our needs. Having boat in the water ready to go each morning was excellent. House was very nice to relax each evening
