Hof Spöde is situated in a beautiful rural setting near Lüdinghausen. The picturesque village of Seppenrade, with its rose garden, is about 1.6 km away. Downtown Lüdinghausen (about 6 km) offers numerous shopping options and restaurants. A particular highlight in Lüdinghausen is the imposing Vischering Castle, home to the Münsterland Museum. During the summer months, a visit to the rose garden in Seppenrade is highly recommended. Hof Spöde is ideally situated for excursions in the surrounding area. Impressive examples of grand architecture await you at Nordkirchen Castle, Westerwinkel Castle near Ascheberg, and Cappenberg Castle near Selm.
Of course, all these destinations are easily accessible by bicycle. Nature lovers are drawn to the Steverauen near Olfen or to the lakes around Haltern am See. The Datteln Canal Junction is located in the Ruhr region, but not far away. The vacation rental on the farm is located on the first floor (separate entrance) and features a bedroom (2 beds) as well as a living room/bedroom (sleep sofa for 2 people). A passageway leads directly from the tastefully furnished living room into the fully equipped kitchen.
