Our vacation rental, “Kleine Auszeit,” is perfect for this and invites you to stay.
With its compact size, it’s ideal for a relaxing vacation for two or even on your own.
The living and dining room, featuring an integrated, fully equipped kitchenette, is functional yet cozy and opens onto the apartment’s own large northwest-facingterrace with a small gate leading to the fully fenced-in garden, which is shared with the neighboring apartment, so that our guests with dogs can relax without worrying that their four-legged friend might wander off into the neighborhood on its own.
In addition, the apartment features a bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a parking space, and storage space for bicycles or water sports equipment you bring along.

Our vacation rental is located in Maasholm Bad, just 2 km from the picturesque fishing village of Maasholm. Here, you can enjoy a delicious fish sandwich or stop by one of the quaint restaurants. A small general store also offers everyday necessities during the peak season.
It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Schlei. The Baltic Sea beach is only about a ten-minute walk (approx. 0.8 km) away.
Water sports enthusiasts particularly appreciate Maasholm: there’s a large marina and a popular surf school right on site.
From the house, you can set out on great bike rides, hikes, or longer excursions, as Kappeln, Schleswig, and Flensburg are not far away.
Enjoy the unspoiled nature in the nearby Geltinger Birk, visit Germany’s smallest town—Arnis—the country doctor in Deekelsen, Gottorf Castle in Schleswig, or the Vikings in Haitabu.
A trip to Denmark is also well worth it.
