The LWL Roman Museum, well worth a visit, is about 0.3 km away; the Haltern am See train station is about 1 km away; and the historic old town is also about 1 km away. There are various shops for daily necessities right in the vicinity of the vacation rental. The shore of the Haltern Reservoir is about 2 km away. The beautiful trails around the lake are perfect for hiking and biking. In the summer, the beach is the perfect spot for a dip in the cool water. Right near the vacation rental is the access point to the Münsterland bike path network, as well as the themed routes “100 Castles Route” and the “Roman-Lippe Route.” Signposted bike paths lead in all directions and offer countless opportunities for extended bike tours. The Hohe Mark Nature Park and the picturesque Westruper Heide are perfect for hiking and Nordic walking. The apartment, featuring two bedrooms, a living-sleeping area, a separate kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet, can accommodate up to 6 people.
