The "Birkenhain" vacation home is an idyllic retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful break from everyday life. Accommodating up to six people, it offers a lovingly designed space that puts you in the mood for a vacation.

The heart of the vacation home is the spacious living area with an open kitchen. The built-in kitchen, decorated in light colors, and the modern appliances—oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle—invite guests to cook, play, and watch TV together. A cozy sofa and a dining area allow guests to enjoy their meals in a harmonious atmosphere.

A special highlight is the fireplace, which provides coziness and comforting warmth in every season. The first floor also features a bedroom equipped with a double bed and a closet. Also on the first floor is a bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. A built-in sauna provides additional comfort. A staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are two additional bedrooms. Here, you can choose whether to sleep in two separate beds or prefer a double bed. A small guest restroom with a sink and toilet is also located on the upper floor. The terrace provides direct access to the outdoors. The cozy patio furniture invites you to linger—whether to enjoy the fresh air, have a meal, or simply relax. The terrace is an ideal place to experience the tranquility of the countryside and appreciate the beauty of nature. At the “Birkenhain” vacation home, you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind for a while and simply enjoy nature.

During the off-season, a breakfast basket for at least three people can be booked upon request. This offer is not available on holidays.



In February 2024, five new vacation homes opened at the KRABAT Mill in Schwarzkollm.
These accommodations are nestled in the peaceful countryside and feature unique, themed interiors that promise an unparalleled experience.
Each cottage features a cozy living area with a fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The handcrafted beds promise a restful night’s sleep and offer every guest the opportunity to unwind from the stresses of daily life.
On the grounds of the Krabat Mill, guests can enjoy traditionally baked buttermilk pancakes and black Müller ice cream in the Bauernstube, or dine at the Haus des Müllers restaurant.
