Cozy 2-bedroom house near Cordell Hull Lake
Located outside of Gainesboro (and about 1.5hrs from Nashville), enjoy this 2-bedroom house near the top of a quiet dead-end road just off of Cordell Hull Lake. The lake-themed cabin offers two bedrooms, including a king bed (master), and 2 twin beds (2nd bedroom) with blackout curtains, perfect for a restful night. Guests can relax in the living room, which features a record player, games, books, TV, and WIFI. The sunroom provides 2 twin beds for extra comfort. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a washer/dryer, linens and soaps to make your stay more enjoyable. This cabin invites guests to unwind and feel right at home!
Outside, enjoy mountain-view sunsets on the front porch, or coffee on the private deck just off of the master bedroom. You'll see all kinds of wildlife, including deer, turkey, rabbits, and hummingbirds.
Away from the cabin, adventure is calling. Visit one of the many area Tennessee parks for hiking, waterfalls, and swimming. Boat rentals, kayaking/tubing trips, antiquing, wine tasting, live music and more is all within driving distance.

My husband and I live with our two daughters just outside of Nashville. We love traveling, renovating, and escaping to the mountains and the beach whenever possible. We've always dreamed of owning a getaway, and are so thankful to not only be able to do that now, but also share our quiet retreat with others.

We chose Gainesboro because it's close enough to everything we love about Middle Tennessee, but removed from the city. The area around Cordell Hull Lake is quiet and beautiful--the perfect escape for family time!

We love that this cabin is on a quiet dead-end road at the top of the hill. Our favorite thing to do after a day on the lake, is sit on the porch rockers and watch the sun set over the mountains.
