Water, meadows, forests, and hills—and right in the middle of it all, Ulrichshusen Castle, just under 15 km north of Waren-Müritz.
Ulrichshusen Castle, one of Mecklenburg’s most significant Renaissance structures, is now a hotel and attracts thousands of art lovers every July and August.
Beginning in 1994 as a dilapidated fieldstone barn and elevated by the opening concert featuring Lord Yehudi Menuhin, the now-restored concert barn is known as one of the main venues of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.
