This beautiful vacation home is located in the small village of Stexwig, right on the Schlei. <br>Surrounded by typical Schleswig-Holstein farmland and reeds, the house sits quietly in a small settlement—with a view of the Baltic Sea fjord. It’s a place where you naturally slow down a bit.<br><br>With just under 100 square meters of space, there’s room for up to six people here—and plenty of room for relaxing days spent enjoying the Schlei, nature, and the Baltic Sea air.<br><br>The house spans three floors. The entrance is on the middle level—and as soon as you walk in, your gaze falls directly on the Schlei. Here you’ll find a coat rack, a small desk for anyone who needs to open up their laptop now and then, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.<br><br>From the balcony, you can enjoy the view of the countryside and the water from outside—in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening as things slowly quiet down.<br>A staircase leads up to the attic of the house, which was renovated and refurnished in 2024. Here, too, the gabled front offers a view of the peaceful natural surroundings of the Schlei region. Two comfortable single beds ensure a restful night’s sleep—perfect for children, friends, or anyone who likes a little space at night.<br><br>The true heart of the house is on the first floor. In the spacious living area, you can make yourself comfortable on the corner sofa or in one of the reading chairs. The open kitchen adjoins it directly and offers seating for up to six people at the large dining table—ideal for long breakfasts or evenings spent together.<br>And when it gets chilly outside—as it often does in northern Germany—the wood-burning stove adds extra coziness.<br><br>From here, you can also step out onto the partially covered patio. Comfortable patio furniture and an electric grill invite you to eat outside, enjoy the sun, or simply wind down the day in a relaxed way.<br><br>This floor also features the second bedroom with a double bed, as well as another bathroom with a bathtub and shower.<br>If there are six of you traveling together, two additional sleeping spots are available on the comfortable sleeper sofa in the living area. It folds out quickly—simple, just as a vacation should be.<br><br>The house also features a small garden where you can always find a sunny spot. From here, you have direct access to a small hiking trail that leads to the banks of the Schlei—passing a small marina on the way to a swimming area with a playground, soccer goals, and a basketball hoop.<br><br>On warm days, it’s wonderful to swim in the Schlei here or simply dip your feet in the water. The quiet location by the fjord is also perfect for taking a SUP or kayak out on the water and exploring the Schlei landscape from the water.<br><br>A utility room with a washing machine rounds out the house.<br><br>The building also houses a separate vacation apartment for the owners with its own entrance.
