Located in the heart of Fjord Norway, this beautiful vacation home boasts a spectacular setting right on the Maurangerfjord, a side arm of the world-renowned Hardangerfjord. The home featured here is one of four identical properties, all of which are situated directly on the fjord’s shore. Be a guest at this vacation home in an exclusive fjord setting and spend your vacation here in Norway’s unique fjord landscape, which defines the scenery of Western Norway. From this exceptionally charming house and its wooden deck, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the turquoise waters and the mountains rising steeply from the water with their rounded peaks.

Even the living room with its dining area offers a beautiful view of the fjord. From here, you have direct access to the deck that borders the water. On overcast days, make yourself comfortable inside and enjoy the view through the numerous windows.

The large dining table invites you to start your vacation days here with a leisurely breakfast and make plans for exciting excursions.

In the entrance area of the house, you’ll find a spacious hallway, ensuring plenty of room for your luggage. A staircase leads to the first floor, where there are two attractively furnished bedrooms, each with a double bed. The fifth bed on this floor is located in the loft. Another bedroom is on the first floor, sleeping three.

The addition at the rear of the house provides space for fishing gear and for drying laundry. Here you’ll find personal flotation devices for all guests, a freezer, and a grill. Bushes separate each vacation rental, ensuring plenty of privacy so you can enjoy meals outdoors or sunbathe.

Maurangerfjord

The Maurangerfjord offers good fishing spots for anglersspots. Cod, pollock, whiting, ling, mackerel, flounder, herring, salmon, sea trout, and other fish are caught in the fjord. With a rental motorboat, you can quickly reach many fishing spots, including those in the Hardangerfjord. You do not need a fishing license to fish in the fjord.

Anglers who want to fish for salmon or sea trout can fish in several rivers in the region for a fee, including the Æneselva and Uskedalselva. At Furebergfossen, an impressive nearby waterfall, salmon and sea trout can be found in the waterfall’s rapids, and no license is required.

Fishing regulations for tourists: This vacation rental is registered as a specialized tourism fishing operation; you are allowed to catch one fish per person.
