Located in the heart of the charming old town, just a few steps from Rheinsberg Castle and Lake Rheinsberg, these two vacation apartments—each accommodating 2 adults—are situated on the ground and upper floors of a lovingly renovated half-timbered house dating from 1870, on a quiet side street. Restaurants, cafés, bakeries, the steamboat dock, and various shopping options can be found in the immediate vicinity.<br>Both apartments have central heating and share a common hallway. Since this is an older building, please note the low ceiling heights, especially on the upper floor (2.10 m).<br>This tastefully furnished, non-smoking ground-floor apartment—approximately 55 square meters in size and suitable for 2 adults—features a combined living room and bedroom (double bed, two armchairs, flat-screen TV), a large, fully equipped kitchen-dining area (dining table, sofa, electric stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, reverse osmosis water filter system), a bathroom (shower, tub,<br>toilet, hair dryer), and a large furnished terrace in the courtyard. Upon request, breakfast can be enjoyed at a café just a few steps away for a fee. A free parking space is available directly in front of the house; additional parking spaces (subject to a fee during the day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) can be found right on the street or for free just a few steps away in the surrounding area. You may pull up in front of the house for loading and unloading. The small town of Rheinsberg is a state-recognized resort town nestled in the heart of the beautiful Rheinsberg Lake District in Brandenburg. The region boasts countless lakes connected by canals. It is an ideal vacation destination, not just for water enthusiasts. Thanks to the Prussian Crown Prince Frederick, who resided in the Rococo palace in Rheinsberg during the 18th century, the town became a thriving cultural center and inspired figures such as Kurt Tucholsky and Theodor Fontane. Today, the castle grounds—which also house a theater, the Chamber Opera, and the Kurt Tucholsky Museum—host the annual Chamber Opera Festival and other musical events. The annual pottery market, held each fall and featuring international, professional exhibitors, also attracts thousands of visitors.In addition to the picturesque Old Town with its numerous restaurants and cafés, passenger boat tours, boat and bike rentals, and a swimming area at Grienericksee are among the town’s main attractions. The connection to the Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance bike path is approximately 20 km away.
