A warm welcome
to our cozy Felsennest, a traditional Moselle winemaker’s house. It offers you a charming retreat in a quiet location below the Grevenburg Castle ruins in Traben-Trarbach.
The vacation home features a living room on the first floor with a cozy (sleeper) couch and a flat-screen TV. There, a dining area with a table and chairs invites you to enjoy meals together. The fully equipped kitchen is also located on this floor. It features a modern kitchenette with an electric stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, as well as dishes and silverware. You can go about your entire daily routine on this floor. Adjacent to the kitchen is the guest restroom. You can also access the terrace at Weinbergfels from the kitchen. With comfortable seating and dining areas, it’s the perfect spot to relax together.
In the bedroom (2nd floor), you’ll find a double bed, as well as a dresser and a wardrobe for storing your travel clothes. On the same floor, you’ll also find another sleeping area with a single bed (90x200 cm). This is particularly well-suited for an older child.
The bathroom is located on the first floor. It is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, mirror, and towels. Parking for cars is available on the street and in public parking areas.
Our vacation home is not wheelchair-accessible, as the living space is spread over two floors.

The Moselsteig also has plenty to offer hikers. It begins about 800 meters from our vacation rental. Right after its start in Traben-Trarbach, the Moselsteig delights with exceptionally charming views: The trail winds its way up steep switchbacks directly to the romantic ruins of Grevenburg Castle, where it once again opens up to a view of the historic Art Nouveau town. After climbing a few more meters in elevation, hikers can look forward to more scenic overlooks and unforgettable views of the Moselle Valley.
In the evening, the charming Moselle promenade in Traben-Trarbach invites you to take relaxing strolls and offers spectacular views of the Moselle Valley. Relax and watch the boats go by while enjoying delicious local specialties and fine wines at the numerous cafés and restaurants along the promenade. Traben-Trarbach is rich in historic charm, with well-preserved buildings and narrow alleys that make strolling through the old town an unforgettable experience.
