The stylishly furnished 2-room attic apartment App23 offers a spacious living area, a separate bedroom, and a sunny south-facing balcony with a view of the mountains. It is located in the well-maintained Gschwendtnerhof vacation complex, which features a total of 26 individually designed apartments. At an elevation of 840 m in the idyllic high valley of Hintergschwendt—between Aschau im Chiemgau and Bernau am Chiemsee—you can enjoy peace and quiet, nature, and a breathtaking mountain backdrop, surrounded by meadows and forests between the Kampenwand and Lake Chiemsee. The apartment is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, and excursions in the region. You’ll find shops and restaurants of all kinds in nearby Aschau or in Bernau. A well-maintained communal garden with wooden lounge chairs, an outdoor seating area, a grill area, and an open fire pit invites you to relax and enjoy social gatherings. In the basement, our guests have access to a sauna, two pieces of fitness equipment (a treadmill and an exercise bike), a coin-operated washing machine, and a coin-operated dryer. In addition, there is a storage room, a drying room with a ski storage area, and a cozy lounge with a ping-pong table, foosball table, game corner, and seating. Wi-Fi and ample parking are available free of charge. Pets are welcome—in Apartment App23, one dog may be brought along for an additional fee. We offer our guests a bread roll delivery service (limited during the winter months). You can easily place your order and pay yourself—for an enjoyable start to the day. The Gschwendtnerhof combines nature and relaxation—an ideal place for a relaxing and varied vacation in the heart of the Chiemgau region.
Stylishly furnished 50-square-meter 2-room attic apartment for 2 people, featuring a large living room, a separate bedroom, and a spacious south-facing balcony with a unique view of the Kampenwand, all of which make for a restful and nature-filled vacation. Thanks to its location on the gable end, the balcony provides pleasant shade. A modern living room with an open kitchen and hardwood floors invites you to relax and feel at home. The living room is spacious and features a dining table, a couch, and free Wi-Fi. The open kitchen is very well equipped with a stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, and electric kettle. Our bathroom is tiled with marble and features a hair dryer, shower/tub, and toilet. You’ll sleep in a separate bedroom with a double bed measuring 1.80 m x 2 m. Dogs are welcome for an additional fee. Please note: Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide a TV. Upon request, the accommodation can be expanded to accommodate 4 people with a loft bedroom accessible via a steep staircase/ladder!!
The nearby Chiemsee — affectionately known as the “Bavarian Sea” — is just about a ten-minute drive away and offers a wide range of options for steamboat cruises, such as a visit to Herrenchiemsee Palace and the idyllic Fraueninsel, as well as water sports and relaxing days at the beach. For those interested in culture, there is a wealth of destinations to explore: The cities of Salzburg, Munich, and Kufstein, as well as the picturesque Königssee, are all within a little over an hour’s drive and are perfect for varied day trips.
