We offer you a haven of peace in the rural surroundings of the Haute Vienne in a beautiful historic house that has been authentically and lovingly restored - our Maison ‘Renard et Lapin’. The adjoining very large enclosed private garden is ideal for families with children or pets to spend a carefree, beautiful and eventful holiday.

Your holiday home:
The house has a total of 4 large bedrooms, with room for 8 people. Three of the bedrooms are furnished with king-size double beds, one bedroom has two single beds. Two bedrooms share a bathroom on the same floor. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living and dining area is a spacious open-plan area with a wood-burning stove for romantic evenings.
The entire house and large parts of the garden are covered by powerful WiFi, so you could work remotely if required.
Our guests have exclusive use of the house and the garden surrounded by old oak trees, with a water lily pond and a natural stream. Right next to the house you have an inviting, sun-protected terrace with a gas grill for your BBQ. The highlight for your children will certainly be the pool with sun deck and their own wigwam in the garden. Nothing stands in the way of an overnight stay under the breathtaking starry sky.
You can park comfortably in front of the house, there are two private parking spaces available.

The house is 9 km from the A20 motorway on the Paris-Toulouse axis (3 hours from Paris). It is 10 km to Magnac-Laval with several shops or 19 km from La Souterraine, a town with all shops, doctors, veterinarians, swimming pool and various restaurants.
Our guests are given a telephone number on arrival where we can be contacted 24/7. Access to the house is via an electronic pin code, which will be sent to you in good time before your arrival.
Due to the very large natural garden and its water areas as well as the historic staircase in the house, we recommend families with children, a minimum age of 5 years with safe swimming skills.
