If you’d like to learn more about what to expect:
I’m convinced that good design brings happiness—for me personally, this is especially true of mid-century pieces. That’s why you’ll find several original pieces by Verner Panton, Charles and Ray Eames, and Konstantin Grcic in my apartment.
I think the mix of classics and carefully selected one-of-a-kind pieces creates a relaxed yet exciting atmosphere. That’s why I like to bring back unique pieces from my travels, which can be found in many corners of the apartment—including a tapestry from Palestine, Kenyan wood carvings, Rwandan baskets, and colorful planters from Ecuador.
Before you arrive, you can check out my personal travel guide for the top 10 locations and activities in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. In addition, I’m happy to put together personalized recommendations for my guests upon request. Whether it’s a list of the best playgrounds in the area or the trendiest bars from Neukölln to Mitte—so far, I’ve been able to fulfill every request.
I’m also available at any time during your stay. I’m usually in Berlin myself and just a few minutes away in case anything requires my attention.
So you can rest assured that you won’t be staying in a sterile, run-of-the-mill vacation apartment—instead, you’ll find everything you need to feel right at home.
