This place was heaven on earth!

Great place just a few steps to the beach. Loved waking up to watch the sunrise each day. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony as I watched the ocean in the distance. Highly recommend..

Loved it! Very clean, organized, and close to the beach

The Travis family maintains their unit with care and comfortable surroundings. The pools are very quiet and friendly Tennant's are there to help you with anything that you need. The beach is across the street and there are many attractions,such as restaurants, shopping,and beach life within walking distance. We cannot wait to go back there next spring!

Great Vacation!

Very Clean, plenty of room and everything that you need for a home away from home! Very short walk to the beach and just steps away from 1 of 3 pools and the hot tub. Keypad door lock made it super convenient to not have to carry a key when going to the beach or pool. Owner was very easy to contact.

Great trip

We had such a great week in Myrtle Beach! The condo was perfect. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beach was such a short walk away. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch every morning with our view of the ocean. We hope to be able to stay here again! Highly recommend this condo to anyone else looking.

Great condo

The condo was so clean and fresh smelling. The kitchen was well equipped. It was so nice to have the linens included. They were so plush and soft, not the usual rough hotel ones. Since we had a 2 1/2 year old with us, we were pleased that there were not a lot of knick knacks to put up out of her reach. It was nicely decorated. The pools were great, and the beach was just across Shore Dr. We loved the keyless entry - no worry about who had the key or where it was. This is one of the few condos at Shipwatch that has a king size bed in the master which was a must for us. We had a wonderful vacation!

The condo was beautiful and fully stocked. Clean. The grounds and pools were immaculate. The owner was great to deal with and responded almost immediately. There's a lovely area nearby with the best ice cream and Flip Flops that has a live musician nightly. The beach is great and a short walk. Can't wait to come back!

First Family Trip to Myrtle

We traveled with a 3 and 4 year old and this property absolutely exceeded all expectations! Property and condo were sparkling clean, communication with owner was SUPER easy, location was perfect for low-key beach goers or families. Pools were well maintained and beautiful, hot tub was always hot and clean. Linens and towels were high quality and kitchen was well equipped for all your meal prep needs. We will definitely be returning to this condo in the future.

Great location!

We had an amazing week at this condo. The unit is on the second floor with a view of the ocean from the balcony. The balcony also overlooks the pool and hot tub which is nice to check in with family members or to see how busy the hot tub is. It was an easy walk across the street to the beach with a public access point there. The location is great. It is only a short drive to Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing and the outlets. The condo had plenty of room and everything we needed in the kitchen (coffee pot, toaster, microwave, dishes/Tupperware). Once we figured out the lock it was really easy and nice not to have to carry a key. The owner was great to deal with. If we return to Myrtle Beach we would definitely stay here again.

Large Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Pam’s place. We were on a large family vacation and actually rented three condos at Ship Watch. This place was very clean and the location was perfect. We had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time inside because it rained every day. Pam was wonderful to work with and quick to respond. Loved the keyless entry! We will definitely stay here again!

Great family vacation!

We have been coming to MB for close to 25-years. Stayed at ShipWatch each time. We enjoy the surroundings and love that it is kid friendly. Our condo was perfect. Clean and a great location! We look forward to coming back in two years.

Nice condo

I love this condo. A few things the couch mattress was very springy and my son couldn't even sleep on it. Also my daughter cut her foot on a toothpick that was in the carpet. Other then them issues the place was great.

Great condo, great vacation

This condo was everything we could have wanted. Above all, it was clean, and I can't say that has always been our experience on move in day. What I especially loved about it was the location, right above the hot tub, which made it easy to see if other members of the family (we had a large group throughout the facility) were in the pool, gazebo, or hot tub. I also loved the keyless entry. I wasn't sure how this would work, but seeing other family members transferring keys, wondering who had the keys, concerned about losing them at the beach or pool, the key pad worked great and the others using keys agreed. My other big praise was for a king size bed in the master BR. We have one at home, and none of the condos we've stayed in before at Shipwatche Pt. have had king beds, so this was very welcome for us. Pam was very easy to work with in the rental and provided all the info we needed, promptly replying to our questions before we left for vacation. Overall, I have to say we were all very delighted with the condo and that made the vacation even better. I would definitely stay in this condo again. PJS.

Nice, clean, & conveniently located condo

Great location and very clean. You have Ocean Annie's Bar, Flip Flops, and Harry the Hats within walking distance. The complex also includes souvenir shop, scooter rental, and liquor store onsite. There are multiple pools and a large hot tub. A few tips: The unit is on the second floor which is actually the third floor (4 flights of steps), second row back from street. I mention this because some travelers may have a hard time with stairs. Our house actually has more steps so we were fine. The lock is a little different. Type in code and turn the BRASS LOCK, not the knob, to unlock it. Three people in our group kept trying to open it before we figured this out. It's really simple, but unexpected. If you're going to use the oven, pack oven mits. Also, kitchen towels are not included so you might want to bring one. The bathroom floors are slippery when wet and we didn't have bath mats so we put a towel down on the tile. Mats are included for inside the shower. The mattresses are extra firm which some may like, but if you have back problems you may find it difficult to sleep. However, there is a very comfortable recliner in the living area. Regular coffee pot included, not a Keurig so bring or purchase ground coffee. There are TVs in the bedrooms (I don't think the listing states this). We loved being able to hook up our Apple TV or PS4 for the kids on rainy days which we had a lot of. Previous guests have left behind many useful items such as coffee filters and condiments like ketchup, mustard, mayo, peanut butter, salad dressing and butter, spices, beer, bottled water, snacks, popsicles. It was nice to have these items available so that we didn't have to purchase them. The complex also has grills for your usage. You'll find a note on the fridge that states not to use the comforters/quilts, but to fold them and put in the closets during your stay. There's also notes on the decorative towels that say they aren't to be used. Fortunately, we were traveling with 13-14 year old girls so they followed instructions, but if you have little ones be sure to put these items out of reach. The owner provides alternative blankets in the master closet and in the dresser of the second bedroom. There were no beach supplies except an umbrella anchor and the TOP portion to a beach umbrella in the master closet. The umbrella was missing a part at the top and the bottom part of the rod, but we packed 2 large umbrellas and chairs from home anyway.

The only complaint is the dusting of the condo, I will take in affect I am a clean freak, but I had to dust my first evening there, you could write in the dust on beds, tv's, ceiling fan, and above shades........

WONDERFUL RELAXING STAY

THE CONDO WAS VERY, VERY CLEAN AND RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FORM THE BEACH! WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY STAY HERE AGAIN. THE CONDO WAS CENTRALLY LOCATED TO ATTRACTIONS AND SHOPPING BUT FAR ENOUGH AWAY FROM THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE SO THAT THE CONDO WAS VERY QUIET. WE HAD A WONDERFUL WEEK AND I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN.

Great condo for a summer vacation not so for March Break.

I went here with my family for my daughters March break. This condo is very well taken care of, great location short walk to the beach. Owners are friendly and easy to communicate with. Beds were comfortable with very nice sheets. However we were disappointed that we were never told in description that pools and Hot Tub at this property were not usable until sometime in April. We encountered a very cool week and would have appreciated a dvd player at the least. Kitchen lacks basic things such as a water kettle, oven mitts, soup ladle, tea towels and dish cloths. Despite these disappointments we would recommend this condo for a summer vacation.

Palm Tree Condo

The "Palm Tree Condo", as my family and I call it, was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable! We love the "hotel" feel with fresh towels, sheets and other items waiting for us upon arrival. We appreciate the starters they provide like laundry detergent, garbage bags, and soaps to reduce cost of having to go out and purchase. It is the small thoughtful details that matter to us. The owner was quick and courteous with responding to our needs over the vacation. We look forward to renting for a third time from the wonderful owners. We enjoy our beloved Myrtle Beach :)
