Exklusive Landhausvilla, gr. Pool, gr. Garten, Ruhig, 5 Gehmin. zum Dorf

Our house is a very well-maintained country villa located in the hills of the Côte d'Azur, with a beautiful pool (11x4m) in a 2500 sqm garden with mainly old olive trees. The house has a covered, sun-protected terrace, a pergola area covered in greenery with a barbecue (gas), a summer kitchen by the pool with an additional barbecue and dining area as well as a refrige, a private boules court, table tennis, badminton, etc. The house and pool are secured and offer a very exclusive atmosphere.
On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom (underfloor heating) and a separate toilet. On the lower floor there is a large living room with a cosy fireplace corner, a dining room with French doors leading to the terrace and pergola, an open-plan kitchen with pantry, and another bedroom with ensuite bathroom (underfloor heating) and a separate toilet. The two bathrooms and toilets were newly renovated in 2022.
The mosaic-tiled pool measures 11x4 m and is secured by a fence and an alarm system. The sunbathing area around the pool is edged with natural stone. The pool can be heated by arrangement, beach towels, sun loungers and parasols are provided for your use. A tennis court and a basketball court are located 150 m away.
All bedrooms are equipped with modern, individually controlled air conditioning (2023).
The village is reachable in a 5-minute walk uphill past the tennis court. There is a bakery, a butcher, a well-stocked delicatessen supermarket, several excellent restaurants and an aperitif bar. The weekly market offers fruit, cheese and vegetables from the region.
SURROUNDINGS
The villages of Callas, Claviers and Bargemon in the immediate vicinity are definitely worth a visit.
Several beautiful, internationally renowned golf courses (Terres Blanches, Roquebrune and Saint Andréol) are located nearby. The surrounding villages have weekly markets offering fresh produce and antiques.
The sea (40 km), beautiful beaches, Nice Airport (approx. 1 hour by car), Marseille Airport (approx. 1.5 hours by car), Lac de Cassien (15 km), the famous perfume village of Grasse and many beautiful artists' villages, as well as the impressive coastline of the Côte d'Azur, are ideal for excursions.
St. Tropez (50 km) with its legendary beach clubs or Cannes (50 km) and Nice (65 km) offer a more sophisticated atmosphere. Or you can relax by the pool with a sweeping view of the Provençal hills.

We are part of the Provence Côte d'Azur region with all its advantages.

Glorious location with beautiful views. House is well equipped with everything you will need, Pool area and bbq/outdoor dining facilities are great. All in all a lovely property, which clearly is somebody's second home. If venturing out in the car be prepared for some winding roads ! (It is the Verdon Gorge afterall !) Bargemon is lovely and would thoroughly recommend the restaurant in Photograph, Cotes de boeuf was fantastic. Only negative for us was the walk into Village from the house, you have to walk on the road (no pavement) for about 200m until you start the climb up into Village. OK for adults but wouldn't really want to do it with young children, especially in the dark. Overall a very enjoyable stay in a house with good facilities and great outdoor space. I would thoroughly recommend it if you want a quiet relaxing break.

This is a perfect villa in a perfect location. The grounds and pool are beautiful, the outside terrace and barbeque area are perfect for relaxing and casual dining and the interior is comfortable and very well appointed. The bathrooms were more modern and larger than we expected in a villa of this style.The icing on the cake is being a 5 minute walk into the charming village of Bargemon. Close enough to walk in for morning coffee and croissants and then for drinks and dinner.Valérie, the manager, is very responsive and sorted out some small issue we had immediately. Stefan, the owner, is approachable and responsive too.We could not have hoped for a better time in a more delightful location.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt in einem Traumhaften Ferienhaus!

Wir waren zwei Wochen mit Freunden und unseren Kindern und können nur Positives berichten. Das Haus ist gepflegt, sauber und toll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Die Kinder haben wir fast nicht mehr aus dem Pool bekommen 😊 Auch die Übergabe mit der Dame verlief reibungslos. Wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten, wurde dieses schnell geklärt. Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt.

Beautiful retreat

We had a wonderful two weeks. It was very relaxing and refreshing. The house is very well-equipped and we could get everything we needed from the village, 5-10 mins walk away. Our teenagers also enjoyed the football and basketball place, also only 5mins away. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Family vacation!

We had a month-long stay at this wonderful villa, and we didn’t want to leave! The house and property are beautiful, (the photos don’t do it justice) and very comfortable for our family of 7 plus a baby. The owners have taken great care to ensure that guests have everything - kitchen is very well-equipped, pool area has lots of seating, plus its own little kitchen. They have a high chair and play pen/crib as well, and a baby gate for the stairs, if you’re traveling with small children. We spent a lot of time in the pool, and at night the illumination (pool and landscaping) is beautiful. The patio has a new dining table where we enjoyed all our meals. House is airy, open and very welcoming. We loved relaxing outside, with beautiful views of the mountains, lots of olive trees, rosemary and lavender- and the charming village of Bargemon is a 5-10 minute walk from the house (a bit steep, but we did it everyday to get fresh baguettes & croissants). Location is very good for daytrips to the coast, the Gorge de Verdon and lakes, and the market days in the nearby villages. Ivan and Christof were very responsive to any questions, and Valérie was so helpful if any minor issues arose- and had great suggestions for places to see, as well. We had a very relaxing month with our whole family, thank you all for such a wonderful stay!

Superbe villa dans un environnement parfait !

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cette très jolie villa, très joliment décorée. Les pièces sont disposées de manière idéale, la maison a de jolis espaces et de beaux volumes. A 5 minutes du village pour aller chercher le pain, via un petit chemin, elle est parfaitement au calme. De la terrasse et de la piscine, on a une vue dégagée sur les collines alentours et sur la végétation (ce que les photos ne mettent pas assez en valeur !) La piscine est très agréable, avec des espaces autour, avec transats, parasols, et une cuisine d'été avec barbecue. Et mention particulière pour le système de haut-parleurs extérieurs qui permet d'écouter de la musique sans gêner les voisins. Bref, c'était trop court, et nous espérons revenir bientôt ! Enfin, l'accueil de Valérie était parfait !

Great stay!

We spent a week at Ivan’s place, and it was nothing less than awesome! The house was even better than the pictures - the pool area was great, and the outdoor speaker system is super cool. The center of Bergamon is only a short, but step, walk away - so when you don’t fell like cooking you can visit the restaurants. I can highly recommend staying at Ivans place - we would absolutely come back for more..👌

Wunderbar gelegene Villa mit Pool

Wir, 2 Familien, 7 Personen, verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche in besagter Villa mit Pool in Bargemon. Von der Villa aus führt ein Weg (5 Minuten, bergauf) direkt in den beschaulichen Ort, der keine Wünsche offen lässt. Ein paar kleine Läden, ein Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants sind vorhanden. Die Villa bietet Platz für 8 Personen, es gibt 3 Doppelbetten und 2 Einzelbetten in einem Zimmer. Die Doppelzimmer sind groß genug um Babybetten dazuzustellen. Wir waren mit der Aufteilung und dem Platz sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es gibt eine gemütliche Couch-Ecke und einen Kamin. Sicher kann man auch im Winter dort gut sein:). Die Küche ist sehr gut bestückt, man findet alles. Es gibt Waschmaschine und Trockner, eine Weinflasche zur Begrüßung war als kleine Aufmerksamkeit im Kühlschrank. Es war sauber als wir ankamen und die nette Valerie führte uns durch das Haus. Bei ihr konnten wir auch kleine Mängel sofort anmerken und schnurstracks wurden diese behoben. Der Garten ist wundervoll. Man kann Tischtennis spielen und natürlich Boule. Der Pool ist sauber, groß und geht an einer Seite schön tief, so dass man dort vom Rand springen kann. Beim Schwimmen hat man eine tolle Aussicht. In der Außenanlage hat man viele Sitzgelegenheiten, wir konnten uns kaum entscheiden. Es gibt einen kleinen Springbrunnen und ein kleines Becken, der Garten ist eingezäunt mit Elektrozaun wegen der nächtlichen Besuche durch Wildschweine. Das Gelände ist von Außen nicht einsehbar. In ganz unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich sogar ein Tennisplatz. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war ausgesprochen freundlich und familiär. Wir kommen bestimmt eines Tages wieder!

As described

We had a wonderful two weeks at this property. It was exactly as described and well maintained. The views are amazing. It was very hot while we were there but the hosts provided very efficient fans. The only comments would be to provide the house information in English or French as well as German and to provide some big spoons as they seem to be missing from the cutlery drawer. We would definitely go back to this property.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir können uns den positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Insgesamt haben wir 11 Nächte in der Villa Parabaia verbracht. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und im kleinen Örtchen Bargemon, welches in ca. 5 Min zu Fuß erreichbar ist, gibt es u.a. einen kleinen Supermarkt, mehrere Bäckereien und einige Restaurants. Weiterhin waren wir von der Gastfreundschaft der Menschen in der gesamten Umgebung begeistert. Das gilt insbesondere auch für Jewels und Ivan, die uns herzlichst empfangen haben. Wir können die Villa von daher uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

A really nice place

Spent one week with my family in this house. The pool is really great and the outdoor dining place with its view is wonderful. House is clean and well taken care of. The village is as close as the ad promises, with a five min walk to e.g. the bakery and along a very safe path. Due to Homeaway’s automated translation between different languages we had a misunderstanding about towels and linens, but the host solved it all in a great way. I can definitely recommend staying at this place.

Fantastisch!

Wir hatten zwei tolle Wochen in Bargemon. Ein schönes Haus mit tollem, chlorfreien bis zu 2,20m tiefen Pool, ein schönes, naturbelassenes Grundstück mit Bouleplatz und Tischtennisplatte. Außenküche, Gasgrill und Kohlegrill,... alles was man braucht. Dazu ein sehr schöner Ort, tolle Landschaft, viele sehenswerte Orte in der Umgebung (Schluchten, Wasserfälle, Dörfer, Seen,...) so schön, dass ein Tag an der Côte Azur völlig gereicht hat; wozu in die heiße Fülle fahren... und: ein sehr netter, smarter und bemühter Vermieter, der sich um unsere Probleme und Problemchen gekümmert hat. Wir hoffen wiederzukommen.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben Anfang Juni zusammen mit Freunden eine wundervolle Woche in der Villa Parabaia verbracht. Sie ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Das Haus liegt vollkommen abgeschirmt, man hat einen herrlichen Blick ins Grüne und am Pool lässt es sich super relaxen. Den Ort Bargemon mit Supermarkt, Bäckereien, Metzer, Restaurants... erreicht man zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten. Der Gastgeber Ivan und seine Frau waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen diesen besonderen Ort gerne weiter.

We will be back

We have had an incredibly relaxing week's holiday in this fantastic and authentic house. Our plans to explore the area came too little because it was so nice to enjoy the property. The house is clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. It was a pleasure meeting the owner Mr. Chevillotte. He was very helpful while leaving us enjoy our holiday in peace. Eine traumhafte Woche in Bargemon

Wir verbrachten diesen August eine wunderbare Woche in der Provence. Die Villa Paraiba ist ein traumhaftes Feriendomizil inmitten eines einzigartigen, von den Nachbargrundstücken nicht einsehbaren Gartens. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen beeindruckenden Blick auf die umliegenden Hügelketten - man sieht nichts als Natur. Entspannung pur. Das Herzstück des Gartens ist der große Pool, wunderbar zum Schwimmen und Tauchen, denn er ist richtig tief. Das Innere der Villa Paraiba ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, eine sehr gelungene Mischung aus Alt und Neu mit wunderschönen Bildern in allen Zimmern. Die Zimmer selbst sind geräumig und die Betten sehr gut. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu hause gefühlt und konnten uns wirklich nur selten aufraffen unser wunderbares Domizil zu verlassen. Dank des wunderbaren Pools vermisst man das Meer nicht und das Dorf Bargemon ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das schnuckelige Örtchen mit einem malerischen Dorfplatz bietet alles was man so braucht - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einige wirklich sehr nette Restaurants, die auch gehobenen Ansprüchen genügen! Die Verwalterin Jewels und der Besitzer der Villa, Ivan, sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Fantastic property in a great location....

We have stayed at the Villa for the past 3 years - and are returning again for 2017. Villa and garden are clean and perfect for a relaxing family break. Bargemon itself has everything you need - great food and shops....and there is usually something going on. Its a 5 minute walk - up a hill - to the village. Ivan and Jewels are great hosts...would recommend without hesitation !!!!

Entspannung pur!

Ivans Haus ist schlicht großartig! Wir waren insgesamt zu fünft unterwegs und haben uns alle sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Dorf ist idyllisch gelegen und von Nizza aus mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Jewels hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und uns das Haus "erklärt" - es ist einfach alles da: die Küche ist super ausgestattet (wir haben fast jeden Abend gekocht), es gibt einen leicht zu bedienenden Gasgrill und natürlich den herrlichen Pool! Das Haus selbst ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, blitzsauber und wir haben uns alle sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Mit dem Auto (ohne wird es tatsächlich schwierig) ist man rasch am Strand, in St Tropez, in den umliegenden, wunderschönen Dörfern und beim nächsten, großen Supermarkt. Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit und können die Villa Paraiba uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen - wir werden sicher wieder kommen!
