Cozy Swedish house for nature lovers

The cosy holiday home in Skålviken Åsen is a peaceful retreat in the middle of a picturesque hilly landscape. It is situated on a gentle hill, surrounded by dense forests and wide fields that change with the seasons. The traditional Swedish house is built of dark red wood with white windows and a small covered veranda that offers a marvellous view of the nearby lake and the surrounding nature. The entire property is 4000m² in size with outbuildings such as an old barn and workshop, which are not available for use during your stay. The entire property is at your free disposal.

The interior of the house radiates warmth and cosiness. The typical Scandinavian wallpaper and subtle decorations give the room an inviting atmosphere. The open-plan kitchen is simple and functional, but equipped with everything you need for cosy dinners. A dining table where family and friends can get together completes the ambience. The house has a stone oven for baking bread or pizza.

The holiday home has two bedrooms on the lower and upper floors, each equipped with a 140 x 220 cm bed. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and offer views of the peaceful natural surroundings.

The small bathroom is functionally equipped.

Outside there is a large front garden that invites you to sunbathe. The nearby lake with a small bathing area is a 5-minute walk from the house and is separated from the house by a road. Whether for swimming, canoeing or simply dipping your feet in the cold water - the lake is a highlight of the village.

The area surrounding the house offers a wide range of outdoor activities: Hiking trails through the woods, opportunities to go fishing or camping in the countryside and, in winter, cross-country skiing or ice skating through the snow-covered landscape. Ice fishing on the nearby lake is also an interesting diversion. Skålviken Åsen is the ideal place for nature lovers seeking relaxation in a picturesque and peaceful environment. Here you will find the perfect blend of Swedish tradition, cosiness and nature experience.

There are shops and a pharmacy in the nearby town of Hagfors. The journey by car takes about 8 minutes, on foot you have to plan 1 hour each way. There is a bus stop approx. 500 metres from the house.
