Refugium am Höcherberg - Holiday apartment with balcony

At the Refugium am Höcherberg, you’ll find a unique, cozy, and bright vacation apartment with a beautiful view. Conveniently located yet close to nature, it serves as a starting point for hikes, bike and mountain bike tours, and horseback rides in the Jägersburger Weiher recreational area and the Northern Palatinate Uplands. Numerous premium hiking trails and the Saarland Bike Path are also in the immediate vicinity.
In this region where everything is within easy reach, the state capital of Saarbrücken, along with numerous museums, historic sites, and industrial monuments—such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site Völklinger Hütte—invite you to explore and experience the local culture. Here in Bexbach, you’ll find the Saarland Mining Museum.
By car, you can reach Trier, Metz, Luxembourg, Strasbourg, Frankfurt, Mainz, Heidelberg, the Northern Vosges, and the Palatinate Forest in one to one and a half hours.



Vacation apartment with a balcony:

This bright vacation apartment occupies 75 square meters across two floors in our individually renovated two-family home. Past a spacious entryway with a sitting area, you’ll find the living room on the first floor, featuring a large picture window and a balcony. The living room features a sleeper sofa that provides two additional sleeping spots. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are available. The bedroom, equipped with a double bed and a wardrobe, offers a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery. Right next door is the bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and toilet. The kitchen-living room, with a pantry and balcony, is fully equipped with an oven, range hood, electric stove, coffee maker, sink, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle.



On-site fees: Payment is due on site in cash, via PayPal, EC card/Maestro, or credit card.Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in advance to arrange this, if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key box. You will receive the code for the key box well in advance of your arrival.A maximum of one pet is allowed, for a fee of €5 per pet per night.



Check-in is from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
