A lovely property with an incredible view. The location was excellent, a very easy walk into Meersburg along the shared cycle path (20mins). We loved watching the boats on the lake. I had worried that in summer the view would be obscured but the property is raised enough to maintain it even when the trees are in leaf.The accommodation was spacious and clean, and the communication excellent. Check in and check out was very easy and totally independent so no waiting around.My criticism would be that it felt very impersonal. A small bowl of chocolates was provided, a bottle of water and three dishwasher tablets, but no tea or coffee provisions, no booklet of recommended restaurants etc. The only way to make coffee was using a machine (no cafetière or moka pot) which required specific pods we couldn’t find in the supermarket (and as we were only there two nights, wouldn’t have wanted to buy). I also did not realise there was a washroom (washers and dryers) available for use in the basement which would have been so helpful, but I only discovered when emptying the bins on the final day. Overall it was a lovely apartment which I would return to because the view and location was ideal, but it would lovely to have a slightly more personal touch.
