Welcome to the Country Cottage – Your idyllic holiday paradise in the Taunus mountains close to frankfurt!

Are you looking for lots of nature and a relaxing holiday? Then our charming Country Cottage is just what you need! Located in a 800 sqm garden, our cottage offers a private entrance and a cozy terrace. Woods and fields are within walking distance, making it perfect for nature walks, biking tours, but also sightseeing tours close to our small village.


In the freestanding house with 800 sqm garden, you can relax in the separate apartment. You can look forward to an 80 sqm apartment with direct access to the garden, a private terrace, and a separate entrance.

A light-flooded living room with a view of the beautiful 800 sqm garden offers you – especially in spring and summer – a wonderful display of blossoms in white, pink, and red, for example, from 40-year-old large rhododendrons and cherry trees, your accomodation offers a great view on it.

The living room features a lovely dining area for up to 4 people and a comfortable sofa arrangement that can also serve as a sofa bed if needed.
Additionally, there is a 32-inch smart TV available.

Although the location is rural, you have access to fast Wi-Fi in the apartment (guest access) that is provided free of charge. This makes it easy to work from "home" here without any issues, as the internet connection is top-notch.
There is a cozy bedroom furnished with a bed measuring 180x200 cm, as well as a dresser and a clothing rack for your clothes.

The bathroom was completely renovated in 2024. Here you will find, among other things, a 1.40 m x 1 m designer walk-in shower with a rain shower system, providing a true wellness experience.

A small kitchen is equipped with everything you need for self-catering: dishes, cooking facilities, kettle, freestanding stove with oven, and a large refrigerator.

As a guest you have the entire apartment to themselves. It includes a total of 80 sqm: the bedroom, a large and light-filled living room, a large bathroom, kitchen, hallway, private terrace, and private entrance.

The apartment is well-maintained and non-smoking. Dogs are generally welcome (multiple dogs upon request).

Other Important Notes:
There are no shopping facilities in the village itself, but there are plenty in the nearby town (12 km away).

A very convenient beverage delivery service is also available, delivering once a week upon order. Additionally, there is an organic food delivery service from nearby organic farms. Here you can also have fresh organic fruits and vegetables delivered directly to your home once a week (orderable online). Details are available from the host.

The small village is situated in a very idyllic location, and woods and fields are within walking distance, making it perfect for hiking vacations, walks, or biking tours.
In the village itself, there are, among numerous hiking trails, nearby restaurants and a playground for children.

However, the surrounding area also has a lot to offer, ensuring variety if desired.

Wiesbaden, Mainz, wine region Rheingau, Eberbach Monastery, Eltville, Rüdesheim, Geisenheim are also reachable within about 80 km for a day trip, ensuring there is something for everyone.
