On the southern cape of Messinia, a medieval castle rises picturesquely into the sea like a pointed triangle, with the narrow alleyways and pretty houses of Koroni nestling against it. On either side of the village are two of the most beautiful beaches in the region. To the south-west of the charming town centre, the fine sandy beaches of Zaga and Memi stretch along the coast.

The small village of Assini lies to the west of Koroni, with sweeping views of Messinian Bay and the sea. On the edge of the village in idyllic surroundings is the detached house Assini View with two flats. The German-speaking landlady lives on the ground floor. The top floor flat Assini View is rented out. Assini Spitaki is located at the front of the property. A large, terraced, well-kept plot overgrown with Mediterranean plants surrounds the pretty property.

The family's former wine house from the 1960s was renovated in 2024 and converted into a small, comfortable holiday cottage, ideal for 2 people and furnished with great taste and attention to detail. Comfortable furniture, beautifully selected building elements and friendly colours define the interior. The open roof with exposed timber construction gives the holiday home a pleasant sense of spaciousness. The well-equipped kitchen area and bathroom are adjacent to the open-plan living room/bedroom. The direct access to the large, wrap-around, partly covered terrace with BBQ area and a sheltered outdoor shower ensures relaxed, private holiday moments. The house is particularly suitable for couples who want to spend their holiday in a sophisticated atmosphere close to the sea. The enclosed property and private access to the house and grounds offer guests a high level of privacy.

Down by the sea, on the partly managed beaches of Zaga and Memi, life pulsates at the height of summer. The other seasons are more tranquil.

If you want to take part in city life on holiday, don't want to have to travel long distances for everyday errands and still want to live in a quiet, natural environment, then the location of this holiday flat is perfect. The nearby picturesque town of Koroni, with its pretty harbour, tavernas, cafés, shops, ATMs and bars, offers a nice change from the peaceful surroundings of this holiday home.

The towns of Pylos and Methoni on the western side of Messinia also have a special charm. In the coastal area between Koroni and Pylos there are still many unspoilt, fine sandy beaches.
