Vacation in the "Old rectory" - vacation apartment

In the historic heart of medieval Neustadt (Hesse), our Altes Pfarrhaus—a listed gem dating back to 1751—welcomes you. Where the archbishops of Mainz once resided during their visits to Neustadt some 300 years ago, you’ll find peace and relaxation in historic rooms equipped with modern comforts. You could hardly find a more sustainable or healthier place to stay—only natural materials such as wood and clay have been used, crafted using traditional methods. The Baroque house is surrounded by a large park and its own enchanting garden, where our guests are welcome. The rectory overlooks Dörnberg Castle and the Junker-Hansen Tower, the world’s largest half-timbered round tower. Restaurants, a pharmacy, shops, an Edeka supermarket, an outdoor pool, and the train station are just a short walk away. Neustadt is ideal for hikers and cyclists, as many hiking and biking trails converge here. The surrounding area offers nature, history, and culture, with attractions such as Amöneburg, Treysa, Alsfeld, Marburg, and the Kellerwald.



Vacation Rental:

Two historic, beautiful, and stylishly furnished bedrooms await you, both with their own en suite bathrooms, fully equipped with plenty of closet space, 1.60–1.80 m wide beds, and storage areas. There is also an additional restroom. The spacious living room features a comfortable sleeper sofa, a desk, a TV, and plenty of books. The spacious kitchen-living area is fully equipped with everything you need: stove, oven with microwave function, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, range hood, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner, etc. Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers ensure your safety. From every room, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the historic old town, including the Junker-Hansen Tower (the world’s largest half-timbered circular building) and Dörnberg Castle.



On-site costs: Payment by bank transfer must be made no later than 2 weeks before arrival; cash payment on site is possible by arrangement. Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. Later cancellations will be charged at 80% of the total price. Check-in from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, check-out from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys will be handed over in person on-site. Dogs are allowed (€10 per night).



Check-in is from 2:00 to 18:00, and check-out is from 08:00 to 11:00.
