Here, you’ll experience unforgettable moments surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Harz Mountains. With a fantastic location, a balcony, and a fully equipped kitchen, our vacation rental offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation in the mountains.

Highlights of the Vacation Rental

Cozy Living Room:
The living room is perfect for relaxing and features a sleeper sofa (1.40 x 2.00 m) as well as an LED TV (Sharp) with a radio. Ideal for cozy evenings after an exciting day in nature.

Separate bedroom:
The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed (1.40 x 2.00 m). All rooms are accessible separately via the hallway, ensuring your privacy at all times.

Kitchen & Dining:
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you could want: A 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and range hood ensure your comfort. You’ll also find practical appliances such as a coffee maker (filter coffee), a Cremesso capsule machine, toaster, hand mixer, and kettle—perfect for culinary adventures on vacation.

Amenities & Extras:
Enjoy the comfort of real oak hardwood floors (renovated in 2017), tiled kitchen and bathroom areas, and a stereo system with radio, CD player, and USB port. The balcony is furnished with a glass table and 4 chairs—ideal for summer. In winter, you can use the balcony with a metal table and a sled (use at your own risk!). A covered parking space (No. 18) is located right outside the door.

The hillside location ensures that the apartment stays pleasantly cool in the summer, while in the winter, the central heating provides soothing warmth that is adjusted to your needs even before your arrival.

The Alpine Aura Hohegeiß is nestled amid the impressive natural beauty of the Harz Mountains. Enjoy numerous hiking trails and breathtaking views of the Wurmberg. If you’re looking to cool off, visit the idyllic Waldschwimmbad Hohegeiß outdoor pool, a natural swimming spot surrounded by greenery.

In winter:
The perfect location for winter sports enthusiasts! Right on your doorstep, you’ll find the Hohegeiß Ski Center, featuring toboggan runs, ski lifts, and cross-country ski trails. Enjoy the snow and the fresh mountain air.

Exploration trips:
In just 30–45 minutes, you can reach highlights such as the treetop trail in Bad Harzburg, the impressive Rappbode Dam with its suspension bridge, the Brocken, the mystical Hexentanzplatz in Thale, picturesque Wernigerode, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Quedlinburg. Other attractions, such as the Harz narrow-gauge railroads, the Iberg Stalactite Cave, the Kyffhäuser Monument, the Bode Waterfalls, and the Fairy Tale Forest in Thale, are just waiting to be discovered.
