The chalet is located on a small chalet park, at an altitude of 900 meters and about 2 km from the centre of Stadl an der Mur, a town in Styria's popular Murtal holiday region, where there are several shops, restaurants and also a beautiful swimming lake. The historic town of Murau is about 15 km away and has a beautiful old centre, a great range of shops and an indoor swimming pool.

In the immediate vicinity (approx. 5-10 minutes by car) is the well-known Kreischberg ski area, the most modern ski area in the holiday region with 42 km of snow-assured slopes and 13 cable cars and lifts, perfect for families! Another ski area and also a wonderful hiking paradise in the Nockberge is the Turracher Höhe with 43 kilometres of slopes. With a total of 7 ski areas, more than 40 lifts and 120 kilometers of slopes, the region around the chalet park is THE ideal place for all winter sports lovers.

The region is also one of the sunniest regions in Austria, with quiet mountain passes and small traditional villages characterising the landscape. The region also offers several golf clubs for a relaxing golf holiday, such as Golf Club Murau-Kreischberg or Golf Club Grebenzen. On the outskirts of Stadl an der Mur is a large leisure centre, it offers a 7,000 m² swimming lake with a section for non-swimmers and a paddling pool for children. There are spacious sunbathing areas all around, a playground, a beach volleyball court, a football pitch and several tennis courts
