This solidly built house has been extensively renovated and equipped with every comfort. It is situated on a 3,000-square-meter natural lot on the outskirts of Waschleithe, offering a magnificent view of the surrounding area all the way to the highest peak of the Ore Mountains, the Fichtelberg. The town features several inns, an ice cream parlor, a nature and wildlife park, and the “Heimateck” miniature exhibition in the immediate vicinity. The terrace by the house is equipped with patio furniture, a parasol, and a grill. With its optimal floor plan and 100 square meters of living space, our vacation home is ideal for 2 to 6 people. A living room with a fireplace and an adjoining modern kitchen in a country-style design offers plenty of space for spending time together in a convivial atmosphere. The second living room, equipped with a TV and Wi-Fi, also features a wood-burning stove. All rooms are also equipped with electric heating. An ample supply of firewood is provided free of charge. Both bathrooms are modern and feature underfloor heating.
Thanks to Waschleithe’s central location in the Ore Mountains, excursions to the romantic mountain towns of Schwarzenberg and Annaberg are particularly appealing. Hikes through the beautiful natural landscape to the striking peaks of Scheibenberg, Pöhlberg, Bärenstein, and Spiegelwald are particularly recommended. A viewing platform by the forest, which belongs to the house, is also available for use. A mining museum in town as well as numerous other mining-related attractions can also be explored. The mining region of the Saxon and Czech Ore Mountains has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019.
Nearby recreational pools, summer toboggan runs in Eibenstock and Oberwiesenthal, and mountain bike tours on the Stoneman Miriquidi are just a few options for active vacationers
