Our mountain farm, the Klauslehen, is located in Ramsau—Germany’s first mountaineering village—nestled between the impressive peaks of the Steinberg, the Reiteralm, the Hochkalter, and the Watzmann. This setting offers not only breathtaking views but also undisturbed tranquility and an idyllic, natural environment.
From here, you can enjoy nature to the fullest—the Enchanted Forest is just a short walk away, and both Lake Hintersee and Berchtesgaden National Park are in the immediate vicinity. The Klausbach Valley, a starting point for numerous hikes, and the expansive alpine pasture landscape are just a five-minute drive away. Whether you’re looking for a long hike, a mountain tour, or simply a peaceful retreat in nature—the surroundings invite you to do it all.
Despite its seclusion, the conveniences of daily life are right nearby: You’ll find a bakery, a supermarket, and a selection of restaurants and cafés in and around the village of Ramsau.
Happy cows graze on our farm, creating an authentic rural atmosphere. The rooms and apartments at Klauslehen are authentic, comfortably furnished, and offer the ideal space to relax after an eventful day.

Our newly renovated vacation apartment on the upper floor accommodates up to 3 people and is perfect for couples or small families. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed, and the living area includes a practical pull-out couch that provides an additional sleeping spot.
The modern kitchen is new and fully equipped with an oven, a microwave, and a coffee maker. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a toilet.
From the balcony, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and wind down at the end of the day.
