Peace, seclusion, and a break from everyday life for the whole family, couples, and (grand)children—all of whom are very warmly welcome. The semi-detached house, available for rent starting in 2025, is located in Krakow am See in the Charlottenthal district on the outskirts of Mecklenburg Switzerland.
Our vacation home offers the ideal setting for relaxation and enjoying nature. If you’re longing for a retreat where you can unwind, then a visit is definitely worthwhile.
This cozy semi-detached house, with an area of 60 m², offers plenty of space across two floors for up to 4 adults and 1–2 children, as well as the option of an extra bed or travel crib for a baby or toddler.
In the basement, a cozy dining area provides a comfortable atmosphere, equipped with an extendable dining table and a well-stocked kitchen (oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc.), ideal for cozy game nights. Here, you can plan your day in peace or unwind together at the end of the day.
There is also a cozy living/sleeping area with a wood-burning stove and a flat-screen TV/radio, as well as access to a private terrace with seating under the pavilion.
Children are welcome to pass the time here in the playhouse or at the play table.
The bathroom features a low-entry bathtub, a shower enclosure, a sink, a toilet, a clothes rack, and a hair dryer. In the hallway, you’ll find a coat rack, a bench, and the staircase to the upper floor, which is separated by a sliding door.
The front door and the terrace access to the living area are reached via steps.
Upstairs, there is another hallway featuring a small reading nook and a spot to enjoy a hot beverage. A stair gate ensures safety on the upper floor, as this is also where the playroom is located, featuring sleeping, learning, and play areas. The children’s/teen bed with a pull-out function accommodates two children or teenagers. In the playroom, children of all ages will find puzzles, board games, card games, wooden games, and building block games, as well as a play store that encourages role-playing. A variety of books—from toddler to teen levels—invite cozy picture book sessions and reading.
Adjacent to this is a living area for the parents with two single beds, seating, a TV, and an open closet. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a towel warmer, a sink, and a toilet.
Life in the countryside connects you with nature. The garden behind the house provides fresh fruits and vegetables.
We hope our vacation home in the Mecklenburg Lake District offers you everything you need to finally relax properly once again.
As the owners, we live in the adjacent house, which has a separate entrance.
We, Eckhard and Anja, look forward to welcoming you. Whether you’d like to unwind in your own oasis of tranquility or organize afternoons or evenings of games with friends and children—we’re always happy to have satisfied guests. We’re also happy to hear any suggestions for improvement.
Pets
Unfortunately, you cannot bring pets with you, as a small Yorkshire terrier named Cleo lives on the property.
