With great attention to detail, we’ve turned our “Steinklamm” apartment into a little gem. Here, you can take a deep breath and relax erholen.In. Starting in August 2021, a new sauna with its own shower room and relaxation area will be available for our guests. Our “Steinklamm” apartment features a large bedroom with a box-spring double bed (180x200 cm). Here you’ll find a cozy sofa for relaxing TV nights with the family. Closets and nightstands provide plenty of storage space. Each bedroom also has a small desk for your use. In another bedroom, you’ll find a bunk bed (140×200 and 90×200 on top) that can sleep up to 3 people if necessary. The bathroom has been freshly renovated and features a bathtub and a large, walk-in shower. You can store your toiletries under the two sinks. Unfortunately, we were unable to change the existing small window. It’s in its original condition and was the only window in the former prison cell. You’ll be surprised by what we’ve done with it. Located just 50 meters from the “Wildromantische Steinklamm” gorge—200 meters to the natural swimming area. Several cross-country ski trails start right in Spiegelau. The “Luisenfels” apartment is on the upper floor with a beautiful view of the Lusen; the “Steinklamm” apartment is on the first floor. Spiegelau’s local mountain is the nearby Rachel. Ideal for people seeking peace and seclusion in the heart of nature. Spiegelau serves as a local hub and offers all the shopping options you need for daily necessities. Spend a relaxing vacation at Villa Petzold in the Bavarian Forest—right next to the national park. A guestbook is available for you with valuable tips for a relaxing stay (hiking trails, information about the Bavarian Forest National Park, restaurants, cultural attractions, excursions—even in the rain, the history of Villa Petzold, and much more). Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Keys will be handed over in person upon arrival. Pets are not allowed. Final cleaning, table linens and bed linens, parking, etc.—everything is already included! There are no additional costs. Only the visitor’s tax must be paid in cash on site: adults 2.50 EUR, children ages 6 and up 1.25 EUR per night. The travel price must be paid by bank transfer before departure.
