Welcome to the “Haus am Bach” vacation home in the municipality of Gemünden, the pearl of the Hunsrück!
The vacation home is located in a quiet, idyllic setting. The “Heimat” Dream Loop hiking trail passes right by it. The vacation home is ideal for those who want to enjoy nature and unwind.
During the summer months, a visit to the newly renovated outdoor pool comes highly recommended.
Destinations along the Rhine or Moselle rivers are about a 40-minute drive away. The Nahe River is about a 20-minute drive away. The Geierlay suspension bridge is also only about a 30-minute drive away. Cities such as Mainz, Koblenz, and Trier can be reached in about an hour by car.
On the outskirts of town heading toward Mengerschied, there is a store for daily necessities as well as a bakery. There are also several restaurants, a hair salon, and a pharmacy in town. Additional shopping and dining options are available in Kirchberg, about 10 kilometers from Gemünden.
Dogs are welcome. A cleaning fee of €35.00 will be charged for each stay.
The minimum stay is two nights.

The cozy “Haus am Bach” vacation home can accommodate up to 5 people.
On the first floor, the open living and dining area—separated by an old half-timbered wall—invites you to relax and feel right at home. The integrated kitchen features an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, and much more. From there, you have direct access to the terrace, which offers a magnificent view of the stream and the surrounding greenery.
There is also a bathroom with a shower on the first floor.
On the first floor, there is one bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two single beds. The large couch in the living room can be converted into a sleeper sofa and provides sleeping space for two additional people.
The vacation home is equipped with two smart TVs (one in the living room, one in the double bedroom) and Wi-Fi. There is a parking space behind the house; coming from Simmern, turn left immediately after the bridge.
Bed linens and towels are provided.
Dogs are allowed upon request.







On-site fees: Very important for you: Before your arrival, you will receive an email from the hosts. This email will contain the access codes for the key safe. This gives you easy and convenient direct access to your vacation home. Included: - Towels - Bed linens - Car parking - Basic cleaning supplies provided



Check-in is available from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
