Great for our large group

Very suitable for our group of 5 couples - each of us with an ample bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Perfect location for our excursions to Skellig, Slea Head and golf at Dooks and Dingle. A doable 30 minute walk to Killarney town center.

Delightful, well appointed home suitable for my family and grandchildren! Easy walk to town and the Cathedral through the park or along the road. Good selection of cuisine in Killarney these days. Markets, Tesco and Lidl, nearby too. Plenty to do and see/experience in Kerry from this home in Killarney.

Beautiful place near Killarney

Our family and family friends had a wonderful week here in Killarney! The accommodations were first class and Roger, the property manager, was as nice and helpful as they come. Great experience for our first stay in Ireland!!

Great for a large group stay

Fantastic property and location, exactly as per description. We were a group of 8 friends looking for a large house in Killarney and this was a great match for us. Good sized bedrooms and a large living and dining space. A short drive from the centre of town.

Second stay at this property

This was our group second stay at this house. We are group of 8 golfers playing in the Killarney area. The last time we stay was pre-Covid in 2019, they were going to redo all the bathrooms, and they came out great. Ever room has a shower, a double size living room, well stocked kitchen and laundry. I would recommend this place if you are golfing in the area. The on site property manager is great and quickly, address our only one small issue.

Their property was great for 8 golfers. Out initial contact with the local property manager was terrible. When we figured out the contact number and could communicate everything was fine.

Great location for golf trip

Perfect for a 3-4 day golf vacation. We played 3 courses within an hours drive. A 5 minute drive to Killarney for dinner, drinks and entertainment. The house is in a neighborhood that is a bit hard to find. This house seems to be the best one. We did not cook in the unit, but seems to have everything you need, minus an ice maker. Perhaps a stand alone maker would be a nice addition. Nice backyard with a table. A farm in the backyard which offers a nice view from 2nd floor bedroom. Instant hot water. Steam and sauna, unfortunately no time for that. Good communications with owner and local guy. Suggestion, turn one of front formal rooms into game room with pool table.

Amazing house!

The Sanctuary was a fantastic house for our extended family trip to Ireland. Being together at the house really made this a memorable experience because we were able to hang out together. We had 16 people stay and we were able to entertain the larger family group here as well. The bedrooms were all very well appointed - comfortable beds, down pillows, great linens and each with their ensuite. Many enjoyed the spa room with the sauna and steam shower after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen was well equipped for entertaining and plenty of space for food and drinks between the multiple refrigerators. Roger was very helpful upon our arrival and helping us set up the grill. We had hired a motorcoach for our large group and didn't rent cars and Roger provided names for taxi drivers that were prompt and friendly and it was only 5-7 min ride into town - we probably could have walked. Gorgeous views out the back of the house and quiet lovely neighborhood. Loved staying here!

Great family reunion

We held a family reunion in July and we found this property perfect. Most of the families came from Ireland but we travelled from China. The open plan "American style" kitchen and living area were perfect for our families to gather together. We were sightseeing during the day and cooked in every night as we were such a large group. Close to town, the National park, the gap of Dunloe and a great area called high ropes with zip lines it was centrally located. The details such as the high quality mattresses and bed linens made for very comfortable sleeping. The property seemed brand new! We had the full 16pp but rearranged a bit so that our elderly mum could have her own room while some of kids slept on an air mattress we brought. It worked very well. We had a problem with the amazing tv and called the care taker who was over quickly to fix it. I highly recommend this property.

PERFECT HOUSE FOR A GROUP GATHERING

What a great house for a group of people to get together in, whether it be family, or friends and it is even spacious enough to survive including the in-laws! We stayed at the Sanctuary for 5 days recently and have to say the house is fantastic for a large group. There is a fabulous open space dining/kitchen/living space downstairs and a deceptively large upstairs accommodating further bedrooms with en-suites plus sauna/steam shower room. Our group included all ages from 5 upwards and the house comfortably accommodates all, with plenty of rooms for the small ones to play in, the teenagers were very happy with the 'DISCO/STEAM' shower and the large TV in the bedrooms providing them with their own little 'den'! The weather was mixed while we were there but make so much more bearable by the really comfortable living area with smart TV. The house is just a stones throw away from Killarney National Park and we started our few days away with a lovely walk through the park to Ross Castle which is well worth a visit and highly recommend the tour also. Another day we all hired bikes and spent a lovely few hours exploring the park. We visited Muckross House, Torc waterfall, explored Killarney and even managed to bring the girls surfing on the famous Inch Beach, only 30 minutes away where despite the weather they had a ball. Meanwhile , golf was a priority for some of the group and needless to say, they were spoilt for choice . The beds in the house are extraordinary comfortable and very welcome after our activity filled days with a little vino in the evenings. All in all, I would have to say the house was perfect for us, spacious, bright, clean , a touch of luxury but with nothing too precious in it for the kids to destroy!

This house was perfect for our group of eight golfers! It was spacious and comfy, well equipped and clean. We made use of the spa to dry off some of our golf stuff, and the location was pretty central to most of the courses we played. We also walked into town for dinner and drinks.

Family Wedding

We had a family wedding in the Gap of Dunloe. Having 6 bedrooms each with their own bathroom was perfect for our group! Roger, the property manager, was very helpful during our stay. Wish we had had more time to enjoy hanging out in the house all together, but we had family events each day. Great house!

Fabulous house, perfect for a large group

The house is amazing and in a lovely location. The size is perfect for a large group, with plenty of space and bedrooms. Majority of bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the place was spotless. 100% would stay here again!

An excellent spacious house with everything supplied

Very impressed with management who sorted out our extra request for towels within 15 mins plus provided a new microwave. Plenty of space for 16 people which included children. Would highly recommend this property for a large family gathering.

Excellent House, well fitted and stocked, in a quite neighbourhood

The house is spacious, clean and modern and is very comfortable. The house is well fitted and has some useful kitchen utensils and gadgets. The sauna was well used by our group and a welcome luxury that worked well. The beds were very soft and comfortable, and we had no issues with things like hot water or heating. The property manager was very responsive, always immediately giving us a call back when we needed some info.

Recommendations

A welcome pack would be helpful. Information on bins and recycling is necessary. Some taps and lights did not work and one of the toilets was very noisy. Other than this the house was lovely and we would definitely consider coming back. Thanks
