The chalet is located on a beautiful chalet park near the charming mountain village of Hohentauern, in the middle of Styria's beautiful Murtal holiday region. Located at around 1,200 meters above sea level, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Großer Bösenstein - the highest peak in the Niedere Tauern.

The ski lift to the family-friendly ski area Ski Hohentauern is just 100 meters away. This clear area offers 11 kilometers of wide, well-prepared slopes and opportunities for off-piste skiing, perfect for lots of variety! Those who like to try several ski areas will find even more snow fun in the Murau region. Visit the high-altitude ski resort Lachtal (26 km ski slopes), Kreischberg/Murau (42 km ski slopes) or the popular ski resort Turracher Höhe (43 km ski slopes), all with beautiful panoramas and excellent facilities. The smaller ski resort Kaiserau in Admont, with 3 kilometers of slopes of varying degrees of difficulty, is ideal for beginners.

In summer, the region is also attractive, with numerous cycling and mountain bike routes, public swimming pools, thermal spas and picturesque lakes such as in Gaishorn am See or in Wald am Schoberpass lake.
