Not far from Lake Diemel and near Willingen, this cozy log cabin welcomes you.

Look forward to a quiet location away from noise and hustle and bustle, surrounded by idyllic nature near Lake Diemel. Surrounded by forests and meadows, this beautiful wooden house offers a cozy atmosphere in a compact space. Take a break from everyday life and unwind with a steaming cup of coffee in the beautiful sunroom overlooking the countryside. Thanks to the fully glazed sunroom, it feels as though you’re sitting right in the garden, allowing you to enjoy the view. An infrared heater provides warmth even when temperatures are a bit cooler.

Explore the surrounding area on foot or by bike. The S2 hiking trail runs right past our front door.
After just a few kilometers, you’ll reach Lake Diemel, where in the summer you’ll find idyllic spots at several lively beach resorts where you can sunbathe and go swimming. There’s also a small indoor pool with a sauna at Lake Diemel.

Water sports enthusiasts also love coming here, and anglers enjoy strong bites and action-packed fights against the backdrop of beautiful natural scenery.
Be sure to visit the impressive Skywalk or the newly built thermal spa in Willingen. Willingen is just a 20-minute drive away, where you’ll find plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shopping opportunities. In winter, you can burn off some energy snowboarding, skiing, and cross-country skiing in the surrounding ski areas and then relax in your cozy vacation home.

Here, you’ll find peace and quiet, be close to nature, and still have plenty of things to do. Our log cabin is well-equipped with a beautiful garden, a sunroom, and a terrace. Your dog will also feel right at home on the over 500 m² property.

5 km to Lake Diemel, 14 kilometers to Willingen, 14 kilometers to Korbach, and 19 km to Bad Arolsen and Lake Twistesee. In the town of Adorf, 2 KM away, you’ll find all the shops you need for daily necessities, as well as restaurants, banks, an ice cream shop, and a gas station.

Our booking price already includes final cleaning, utility costs, bed linens, towels, and dish towels. One dog is allowed for €1 per day. An additional dog is permitted only upon request.

The tourist tax for the municipality of Diemelsee must be paid separately to us. You’ll receive the “SauerlandCard,” which offers many discounts on admission fees, etc.

Our small vacation home features free Wi-Fi and is a smoke-free property. A free parking space is located directly in front of the entrance to the property.
