Our very spacious 70-square-meter vacation apartment on the upper floor of our house is very well-maintained and tastefully furnished. Large panoramic windows in the living/dining room offer an unobstructed view of Gomadingen and the Sternberg mountain across the valley.
You’ll be surrounded by nature right from breakfast. Here, you can leave the stresses of everyday life behind.

Our house is located on the outskirts of town in a completely quiet setting. You can hike directly from the house across juniper heaths and enjoy nature.

Gomadingen is located in the Great Lauter Valley, right in the heart of the biosphere reserve. The unique landscape and tranquil nature of the Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve offer you both rest and relaxation as well as athletic challenges. On award-winning hiking and biking trails, you’ll discover historic castles, idyllic valleys, juniper heaths, and rugged limestone cliffs. Quality hiking trails along the Albtrauf offer a variety of surprising viewpoints. Marvel at the bizarre formations in the stalactite caves in our area and enjoy a boat ride into the Wimsener Cave, the only navigable cave in Germany.
The Marbach State Stud, with its 500-year history, is a paradise for horse lovers. .

Charming towns invite you to take a leisurely stroll: Bad Urach with its royal palace and medieval half-timbered houses; the university town of Tübingen on the picturesque banks of the Neckar; Ulm with its Gothic cathedral and the world’s tallest church tower; Hohenzollern Castle in Hechingen—the ancestral seat of the Hohenzollern princely family—and, not to be forgotten, the city palace in Sigmaringen with its magnificent collection of weapons.
