Surfers love this spot because they find the best conditions here in the standing-water area. Just one kilometer away is Lemkenhafen, with its excellent seafood restaurants and marina. There’s also a surfing and kitesurfing school there.

The neighboring town of “Gold” is only about a 10-minute walk away. Away from the hustle and bustle of the surfers and kiters in this town, you can still enjoy the secluded bay of Westerbergen. Relax and unwind.

A lovely outing takes you to the Flügge Lighthouse, which “winks” at you every evening with its beacon. You’re sure to never forget the unique sunsets.
